This is the latest edition of the completely comprehensive, official version of Robert's put out by a committee that includes one of the original Roberts' descendants, who has served as the Parliamentarian of the National SOCIETY of Parliamentarians(or somesuch), for Pete's sake! I bought it because I am a member of a new club that split from an older club over the conduct of meetings, among other issues. It contains more info than I really need, to be honest, but I wanted it so we could adopt it as our official meetings handbook & avoid what happened to the old club. It is everything I figured it would be. Highly recommended if you have a similar situation or just want to speed up your group's meetings.

You need this for every meeting. This is the definitive reference of how meetings are conducted. When questions arise, you have the answer and you have the correct procedure for everything that might happen.

What's to say - there is no other complete guide to Parliamentary Law. I bought it because it was less expensive than the Book store

In conjunction with the Robert's Rules of Order In Brief, two books that are a must have for any club officer to have in order to run a club meeting properly.

Would not recommend if you are starting new to RR's as this does not give details that most need. This is the first time in my life that have needed to know these rules and I bought this book. I had to turn around and buy the 10th edition which is supose to be the complete newer edition. So, if you just need a refresher this is ok, but if you need to know it all go get the full version.
