Roadsinger * by Yusuf (CD, May-2009, Eder Music)

Yusuf (Cat Stevens)seems to have renewed his musical career wholeheartedly. This is his second album since he came back to playing again,and it is most welcome.The old familiar voice,the style,the serenity that one feels when listening to his music,the beautiful arrangements;it is SO good to have him back again! This album is a bit like the Cat Stevens from the earlier days,more so than An Other Cup,his previous album(which is also excellent.)Anyone who loved this man's music from so many years ago will love this album. It's a no-brainer;buy it!

This is a wonderfully written album that is true to what everyone has come to expect from Yusuf. Songs like "Thinking 'Bout You" and "Roadsinger" will surely become some of his greatest accomplishments. I am pleased to own yet another wonderful and upbeat album by this artist.

Not as upbeat as was his earlier works, almost depressing (and I'm a big fan of Cat Stevens). Hopefully his future works will be more reminiscent of his glory days.

Seems to be the music of years ago. I enjoy the music of Cat Stevens "Yusuf", for anyone that was a fan years ago this is a great buy.

I was unsure about it, but was going to buy it anyway, as a long time fan of Cat Stevens. I enjoyed An Other Cup, which was mostly good, and figured that at best, Roadsinger would be just as passable. Was I ever surprised, this CD is fabulous! The songs are melodic and easy to listen to, with reminders of the old storyteller in them. I just love this CD and enjoy it more with every listen. Buy this CD!!
