Road to Avonlea - The Complete Third Volume (DVD, 2004)

I love this series because it has good old fashioned morals. The acting is supurbe and the kids love it too. This is one show that I am not afraid to let my young ones watch. This series teaches children good lessons and they do not do it in a cheesy way. I loved this show as a child and my kids now have the chance to fall in love with it as well.

I've always loved the Anne of Green Gables movies and these carry on with same characters. I could watch them over and over. When I saw that I could get the sets I did.

I watched these show when they were on the Disney Channel years ago. Forgotten how really wonderful they are---season 3 is worth buying just to see Christopher Reeve in a performance like you've never seen him. A must see for family entertainment.

What a wonderful show this is and each season gets better and better. The first episode is about Aunt Olivia and Jasper Dale's wedding. It's full of humor, and touching moments. It's a classic story. There are many thought-provoking shows such as "Felix & Blackie." It's sad but teaches a very good lesson. "A Different Point of View" is one of my favorites and stars Christopher Lloyd as a school teacher (Professor of the Arts.) And he makes education fun and opens people up to new ways of teaching (creativity). The late Christopher Reeve also stars as a mysterious stranger in "A Dark & Stormy Night." A sad episode is about Marilla Cuthbert's death and in real life, this actress (Colleen Duhurst) did pass away at this time of filming, so the way it is made without her is very moving. It also stars Jonathan Crombie from the "Anne of Green Gables" series. It's a shame that Megan Follows could not be present. A wonderful volume indeed and very enjoyable!

As a kid I use to love watching Ann of Green Gables on the TV. Road to Avonlea is an excellent series & all of my family including my kids love to watch it.

Love the series and we think it is a great christian movie series to watchfor the whole family. We thought all of the actors did a great job and love the scenery where it was filmed.

Package came with some damage to the outside shipping box which caused some small damage to the dvd container itself. The dvd's didn't seem to be damaged. Maybe better packing material should have been used.

Great story. The characters are great. It is a good continuation from the previous dvds. The stories are wholesome and clean with lessons to be learned. Very entertaining.
