Loved the movie. More of a mystery and thriller than one would expect. Meryl did all most all of her "stunts".

WOW!!! What a movie! It has you at the edge of your seat the entire thing! If you like suspensful, intense movies without all the hoopla of today's films watch The River Wild!!!!! Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon are brilliant in their roles. And Meryl does 90% of the rivers herself! I truely great movie that has made it into my top 5.

Totally fun movie!
) The River Wild is such an enjoyable movie. What a great cast, and yet another role demonstrating how Meryl Streep can do just about anything. The scenery is magnificent, the river action scenes thrilling, the social drama intriguing and who knew Kevin Bacon could be so evil (there are a few unpleasant scenes)? Nicely directed. I definitely recommend it.

The River WildI love suspense and action movies. This adds a troubled family pulling together and realizing how much they still love each other. The pet is also an added touch and is also one of the family. Dogs can sense family problems. It was good to see the pet also included.

I love this movie. The acting is excellent, the action is exciting at all times & you can identify with all the characters. It made me want to go out & find a river raft run. It just made me appreciate the outdoors & the history of our outdoors. I recommend this movie highly.
