Rising from the Plains is one of my favorite books. Consisting of 1/3 Wyoming history, 1/3 Geology of Wyoming and that part of the Rocky Mountains, and 1/3 romance of the J. David Love's parents up on Muskrat Creek a little after the turn of the century...until modern times in the energy producing state of Wyoming. Excellent Love family History. Adventure, geology are excellent. Highly recommended for anyone in Wyoming, or with interest in Geology as Dr. Dave Love invented Wyoming Geology! A real joy to have known him and the family today.
