The Good thing about it is the fact that it is easy to use, everything comes with it and it's relatively portable. But unfortunately after about 4 or 5 months it started turning off. I'd be running and the jarring of my body would turn it off. I've taken it snowboarding too. I did close research and from my research I felt that this MP3 player would be able to take the "hits" that my body takes. But unfortunately the thing won't stay on. Even now I'll listen to it and if it even lightly tap on it (and I mean lightly) the Rio turns off. I would not recommend it.
