I have never been able to find it in the store! My husband was so happy! The quality of the disk was great. I was really excited to have the double disk with all of the extras!

I always thought that the right stuff was one of the best movies of the 1980's--and I had bought the original release(1n 1997 i think).It was great, but some thing was missing.This special 2-disc edition of "The Right Stuff"rights what was wrong with the original release--not only do you get a new digital transfer with remastered sound in dolby digital in 5:1 --you get another disc of special features-additonal scenes,story behind documentary,interviews, vintage footage and more.If you love this movie(or aree interested in the origins of the U.S. space program(NASA)you must own this DVD.

A good movie about the beginning of our space program. Good acting, & what the original astronauts went through to get chosen. A must see for any person interested in flying, & what it takes to get into space, The Right Stuff!

America achieved the incredible in the 1960's and the generation that sparked it was motivated by the original 7 Mercury. Combine this with an all star cast that includes Ed Harris and Dennis Quad, you get an amazing story.

This movie is an unequaled classic that highlights a time in history that everyone THINKS they know about. A wonderful companion to Tom Wolfe's timeless book, this film shows the life of a pilot and the myriad issues surrounding the American space race. Everyone who loves films should buy this, and the fact that Levon Helm (of the Band)is the narrator is worth the price of this DVD.

I was a big fan when it was first released. It's one of those movies you like to sit and watch every now and then. Any movie that has a historical significance either factual or stretches the truth is a must see in my opinion.

I bought this award winning movie/DVD for a friend. Since he is a pilot he loved it. Very motivational!

Enjoyed it especially after having personally met General Chuck Yeager on December 7, 2007 at Pearl Harbor. The reason he wasn't chosen to be an Astronaut was not having graduated from college even though he was probably a better flyer than those who did go.

Loved everything about it. I grew up watching this movie and it sparked a pastion about aviation in my life.
