the book is about the civil war and it told both sides of the story. the book is cool and tells alot of information.

One of the best Civil War novels ever, "Rifles for Watie" is the incredible story of Jeff Bussey, a Union soldier, who ends up a spy on Confederate lines. This book follows his amazing journey and the harrowing scrapes he finds himself in. It follows the shaping of his character, and his growth into a man. It will touch your heart and keep it pounding all at the same time!
A very exciting, touching, and well-written story of courage. Five stars!
