I loved the book. It gave me great historical background on the Doors, and Jim Morrison. Brought back memories I have of them from 1967 to 71. The LA, SF landmarks they played, lived, ( Laurel Canyon)( Venice Beach) hung out, recorded at during those heady wonderful years. I lived it too, and remember it all again with the help of this book, and John's great recall and writing brought it all to life again.
