Richard Simmons - Sweatin to the Oldies Set (DVD, 5-Disc Set)

I love the fact that I can do 4 different workouts in one week. It's fun and easy, and I can tell a difference in the way my clothes fit already! I'm glad I bought it.

It's easy to follow, funny, encouraging and reminds me of my high school days. But the funny thing is...even young people find it fun to exercise to.

I bought this for my fiancee and I to dance to. I thought it looked hilarious and I was right. The dances are easy, so even I can do them. Richard Simmons is a weirdo, but that just adds to the funnyness.

I CAN NOT SEEM TO MAKE MYSELF EXERCISE. YOU WILL HAVE ALOT OF FUN WITH THESE DVD'S . THEY WILL GET YOU MOVING!! IT IS ALOT OF FUN , OTHER EXERCISE TAPES HAVE YOU JUST WORKING OUT . ITS NICE TO LISTEN TO MUSIC AND ENJOY. THANKS AGAIN AUDREY

Richard simmons sweatin to the oldies workout set is a great way to start your day and give you a boost of confidence. I use to own the set in VHS form years ago and they got ruined so I was excited to see them offered in disc. I have bad knees and back but am able to use these low impact workouts.

The DVD's are wonderful. Great sound and picture quality, much better than the VHS set I used to own. I play and workout to these DVD's all the time.I like that there are people of different fitness levels working out. His workouts can be used for the very beginer just starting out,to someone in advanced shape. His workout are really easy to follow and he is very energetic and encouraging throughout the workouts. I enjoy the bonus interviews at the end of the workouts including showing how much weight each person working out has lost. What can I say, I love Richard Simmons and I'm not embarrassed to say so. This was well worth every cent. What a bargain!

Great collection of all the "Sweatin" productions. I love that they are all on DVD now so I can replace my old VHS tapes. The added interviews with Richard are a nice touch. I highly recommend this exercise series to anyone looking for something different. These workouts helped me lose weight and stay motivated to keep going because THEY ARE FUN! You'll do anything if you enjoy it.

Energy!!! If you like adrenaline rushes, musical entertainment, lavish sets to watch over and over, not to mention super stretching and gentle movements, this set is for you! Each disc varies in length, balance of high vs. low intensity, stretching on the floor, while standing, or using a chair, and you will soon find your favorites. You can't pick just one to love.

I have them in VHS but needed to upgrade to dvd. They are just as relevant now as they were 20 years ago. I don't like to go to a gym. This is easy to do and requires no equipment and not too much space. Nicely paced warmup, ramp up ,and cool down.

Great songs to workout to. Gives a total body workout. Routines are easy to learn. I like that water bottles are used as weights. No need to buy special equipment.

I love the dvds! My daughter and I are already using them. We have always loved exercising with Richard and I had given my VCR tapes away. I'm so glad you had them on DVD. He is so motivational and never boring. Service was terrific. Thanks. Karen

I absolutely love this set, the first one will probably always be my fav, but they are all good. You feel like you are just having fun, not necessarily exercising. If you do it everyday, you can loose weight. I have lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks from cutting back my food, A TINY BIT, and doing at least one tape a day.

Not only was this set new in the box, it also was the best price anywhere. We use it often and have had no problems.

I had been wanting these DVD for over a year but had just not ordered them. Thought they were very reasonable and I LOVE Richard Simmons.

Finally, I have this Sweatin to the Oldies series on DVD with an added bonus DVD. It was a great value and I am really enjoying it very much!!! Richard never lets us down!

I love working out to the Richard Simmons dvds. Its fun and its goofy you can tell you are working out cause believe me at times they aren't easy but its also entertaining. Plus with the variety of sizes of people it helps to give you motivation. Instead of seeing already fit people doing the workout, which in my opinion makes me feel you already have to be in shape. I started out only doing what I could whether it only be 10 min a day. Then gradually Ive worked up to where I can do the whole video. This dvd is great.

I got this DVD set to help me lose the weight I gained with my two pregnancies. The DVD's are fun, motivating, and have "real people", not "perfect 10" models. I love the music and Richard's energy and enthusiasm. I also like how they have you check your heart rate two times during the workout. I can't think of anything I don't like about this workout set. Even my 19 month old son has fun "working out" with Mommy. There is a DVD where Richard talks about self-esteem and the "inner battle" we have with weight loss that is very good. I would recommend this set to everyone.

Exercise should be fun,and Sweatin to the Oldies is exactly that. Richard Simmons and company combine favorite oldies music with easy low impact exercises that most everyone can do in their homes. The exercises and the repetitions are easily adaptable to all levels of ability and to the size of your home. You are dancing to the music and enjoying every minute of it. The downside,if there is one,is that there is no instruction for each dance.It would be helpful if someone on the program had stood with his/her back to the audience to help speed the process, but the moves are easy and quickly learned. This is the perfect way to keep fit during the winter months and truly enjoy the process.I am almost sixty years old, and I truly look forward to exercising with Richard Simmons every day. If you love to dance, enjoy pop music, and want to stay fit I would strongly recommend trying Sweatin to the Oldies.

I am a female in my middle 50s'. I needed to start an exercise program. I am over weight and get winded easily. I chose Richard, because he understands. He makes you have fun and lose weight. It is not high impact, you are not distracted by half naked women and it is at a pace that is easy to keep up with. I love the dvd's and I am thankful to Richard.

It's sooooo good, and now, I'm only kind of fat! When I first got the tapes, I could hardly wash myself without the help of a rag on a stick, but now, I'm back on my way to personal hygiene. My family even visits again.

I really don't dance like that. The music is good. My kids and I laughed while we were dancing so they were worth it.

I bought this set for my mother - she had them on VHS and hasn't been able to use them - she was looking for the dvd and luckly I found this set on ebay.

I love the music, workout and different songs. My teen and pre-teen kids exercise with me. The workouts are difficult but not impossible. You end up with an overall feeling of energy and well-being. As an obese female, I find I am able to follow the routines and truly enjoy Richard Simmons. A good buy for anyone wanting to do a low impact cardiovascular workout.

I really enjoy the music and instead of thinking about how long is this exercise going to last I find myself enjoying the music and not noticing how long I am exercising. I am overweight and working on losing the weight and needed an exercise program which I could actually do and enjoy and this is it. I am very happy with the set which keeps things from getting boring and contains a program disc about loving yourself and it really helps to keep you motivated.
