Engrossing read
This was absolutely one of the best books I have ever read. I was particularly impressed w/the detailed research involved in writing this book. I have developed an even greater appreciation for American Brilliant Cut Glass. The only fault, if you can call it a fault, is that there were so few pictures of the man, Charles Guernsey Tuthill, and none of his cutting factory or the men and women who made Tuthill a pioneer in the cut glass industry. This is a "must" read for anyone interested in abp cut glass or desirous of reading an engrossing biograph of an American who set a goal, to cut the best glass in America, and succeeded in leaving a legacy that is enjoyed by countless numbers today.
