Rhythm 'n Notes: Improve Your Music Skills (Nintendo DS, 2007)

The game Rhythm 'n Notes: Improve Your Music Skills for the Nintendo DS is actually kind of a useful game for people who want to learn about the thing it takes to make real music because with its mini games it focuses player on understanding what notes are what and what beats it takes to make what certain rhythms are. It is kind of a simplistic game but it it also works at what it teaches. I think Rhythm n' Notes can teach players about how to recognize notes better than it teaches the player about rhythm overall. However if you feel so inclined you can repeat the rhythm exercises as much as you want to. This is a game where the graphic detail is super minimal and simplified yet I found that the wait between getting all of the mini games ready and running was somewhat sluggish. I still think this game is a decent thing to play if you want to learn more about music and don't mind passing some time away.
