This is the modern day handbook for real conservatism coupled with libertarian principles. Amazingly direct, easy to digest, and thoroughly inspiring.This is must reading for anyone with a heart to change our broken political system.

Recommended reading for any American concerned about the future of your country. Do tax payers really need to support troops in 130 countries around the world?

Dr. Ron Paul clearly illustrates our need, as a nation, to take a stand and preserve our freedoms and liberty. Slowly the American people are awakening to reality of a government that has been pacifying the public with statements and actions designed to present action through misdirection and deceit. The is an excellent book that encourages the reader to question the information they are provided and investigate the political establishment. I highly recommend this reading.

Ron Paul is the only person who seems to be wanting to fight for the american people.

Ron Paul nails everything that is going on in government today. From taxes to the ever expanding government, A must read!

I wish every American with half a brain and who is fed up with the corrupt government could read this book, it's fantastic.

This book was an amazing, logical, straightforward plan on the direction that American Politics should take in the coming years. Its historical perspective and informative writing make this a book every American should read. If you consider yourself a traditionalist, you will agree with most of the ideas put forward by Dr. Paul. He is a voice often silenced that needs to be respected and appreciated.

A must read for every American. Short and to the point. I could not put it down. If you think government and U.S. history are boring, this book will change the way you think. The Constitution is the law of the land. Washington D.C. is so far out of line our founding fathers would not recognize their legacy. The so called "Republicans" of today do not know the meaning of the word republic. They need to return to their roots. Open your eyes people before it is too late!

This is an excellent book that I feel every American should read. It is a well written book that is easy to read.

As usual, Ron Paul is spot on on most of this! It is a shame that the majority of Republican voters didn't recognize Ron as the best candidate for the GOP nomination. I'll be writing his name in this November!

If any of these topics peaks your interest, and as an American Citizen I sure hope they do, then this book is a must!

Many political books are so bogged down in language that is, in my opinion purposely vague and technical, Dr Paul writes with humor and urgency that is evident in every page. And he asks the questions that others don't have the guts to ask. For example, why are we spending trillions of dollars every year to keep military bases in countries that to not need or want our presence? Why do we push our Democratic ideology on other governments, yet oppose when the people choose a leader that has views that go against America? Why can the government not see that without the gold standard our money is quickly becoming valueless?

He not only asks the questions, he give plenty of resources for the reader to see for themselves where his information comes from.

In short, if you believe that our Constitution is to be upheld as written, and not to be bent to the convenience of what government wants to accomplish at any given time, if you want to learn more about where your tax dollars are going, if you believe that each person is entitled to freedom and liberty, I urge you to buy, beg, or borrow a copy of this book!

Everyone could benefit from questioning the authority. It's what our forefathers counted on when drafting the Constitution! So, no matter who you are supporting this November, give this book a go.

Excellent manifesto on the true nature of the American government. Congressman Paul reconfirms what most Americans already suspect that politicians in Washington are servants to the highest bidder and not the American people. Straight forward and easy to read expose of the real issues politicians do not want to discuss. A must read for every freedom loving American. Congrats to Congressman Paul for his honesty, integrity, and genuine concern for the people of the United States.

I agree with about 98% of what Ron Paul says. He is a very trustworthy candidate who is the U.S's only chance at a real republic again. Let's see if the revolution spirit is still alive in America...or the N.A.U is coming soon.

Ron Paul shows America, what is truly wrong with our country. People need to realize that the status quo is no longer going to work. Our rights and freedoms are being voted away, and Americans sit idly by, giving a silent obedient consent, when, that is the opposite of what you need to do. By far the most comprehensive overview on the philosophy behind the freedom movement ever written. Not only does Dr. Paul cover a ton of important topics but he writes in a way that makes usually hard subjects like the economy and foreign policy easy for the average person to understand. Ron Paul is a perfect example of what a true American is. This is what made this country, the greatest country ever on Earth. I guess you need to be an older person to truely appreciate how great it used to be,and cry when you see what it has become.

A great book for those who wish that this country was run as our founding Fathers intended. All States to adhere to the Bill of rights. Not trample the right of free speech just because it may offend a group.Or restrict gun rights beacuse some abuse it. Face it this Country is terrified of freedom.
