Revenge by Kiss (CD, May-1992, Mercury)

I love this kiss cd because of a few tracks.First is gene's domino,great rocker!a few other one ,but the laughable god gave rock and roll to you makes me feel good cracks me up at the same time never haD ASONG DO THAT BEFORE!

I'm a Big KISS Fan I do like the Band KISS alot i'd enjoy their Music i really do like their 1992 CD Revenge it has some excellent songs on the CD i do think Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are Excellent Guitar Players and Singers and i'm leaving you excellent FeedBack for this Item KISS Revenge great seller.

KISS has left their Glam Metal image sound and went back to their black leather Heavy Metal image and sound. They got a new drummer (Eric Singer) after the death of Eric Carr (R.I.P.) and recorded Revenge. Songs that make this album shine (in my opinion) are the following...

Its a fantastic album and I recommend you get it for your KISS collection RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!

I saw this excelent album at a really good price and thought- what the heck, ill just buy it here, and what an album! of course i must announce that i am more a fan of the later KISS material(creatures of the night- revenge) and this is really catchy hard rock hymns in the way that Only Kiss can deliver it, take for example "Unholy", incredibly awsome song! my personal highlight of the album. Nuff' said, buy the damn thing!

Of all of the 80's - 90's Kiss albums, this is probably my favorite since Gene finally remembered he's a rock star! Most of Gene's input on 80's albums like "Animalize" and "Asylum" was mediocre at best; Paul did most of the heavy lifting on hits like "Heaven's on Fire", "Lick It Up," and "Tears are Falling". On this album, Gene is the lead on the two strongest tracks: "Unholy" and "Domino." The album is the heaviest since "Creatures" and appears to be helped by the introduction of Eric Singer (RIP Eric Carr) to the band on drums. His drumming really propels this set of songs (I loved his work with Badlands as well.) Not the best Kiss album ("Rock and Roll Over" is rock-solid from beginning to end), but a very good listen!

Another great album of KISS the Best Rock group Ever...great songs and love the last track...CARR JAM....to bad we lost a great Drummer with his death due to Cancer....ROCK HARD IN HEAVEN CARR.

This is the first of three original writen material cds that Kiss did in the ninties, with the others being "Carnival Of Souls" and "Psycho Circus". It is just as good as the non-makeup cd "Asylum", that was released in 1985, it went gold. Some of the best songs on it are "Unholy", "I Just Wanna", "God Gave Rock'n' Roll To You II", and "Domino". In reality, all of the songs are very good on it, so you really want to listen to the whole cd, not just a few of the songs. This is Eric Singer's best studio cd with Kiss so far, because really hits the drums really good and this makes the cd even sound harder edged, like the drums on Jake E. Lee's "Badlands" cd that he did in 1989. You need this to complete your non-makeup Kiss cd collection, because it doesn't seem like it is complete without it in it.

By far Revenge is Kiss's most Metal album to date. After the death of Eric Carr, Eric Singer came into Kiss to play drums. To this date Bruce Kulick says that Revenge was the best album he played on. The best songs on this CD are Unholy, Domino, Spit, Thou Shalt Not, God Gave Rock And Roll To You II, Carr Jam 1981 (Origonally named Heaven), Every Time I Look At You, Paralyzed, and I Just Wanna.

I think Revenge was a breath of fresh air for Kiss after looking and sounding terrible through the late 80s..This album has some really good songs and catchy riffs from Bruce Kulick..His guitar playing is solid.Kiss brought in Eric Singer on drums after Eric Carrs death and his style fits well with Kiss.Paul Stanleys singing is terrific like usual.If you listen to songs like "Unholy","Thou Shall Not"and "Paralyzed" you get that gritty style of guitar and singing that kinda reminds me some songs like "Young and Wasted" and Fits Like A Glove" from Lick It Up album.I thought Revenge was a really good comeback album for Kiss that showed they can still put out a real hard album..I would recommend this album to anyone who thought Kiss was washed up after the late 80s period...Frank G

My husband has waited for this album for a very long time. It is his very favorite and he is enjoying it to the fullest.

This recording marks the comeback of the old KISS... hard rocking, dedicated to thier own style instead of trying to be trendy. Some of these searing tunes like "Take It Off" will make you want to bang head and play air guitar like you did as a teenager!
This is the hardest rocking album KISS has cranked out since the megahit album DESTROYER. Love it, cannot get enough!

I bought the record for my son who is a fan of Kiss for years. He was happy to get it. it was one he did not have so i took a chance as it was one he did not have.I like looking up old C D s

This cd has some of the hardest rock that Kiss had put out to this point. It includes such classics as Unholy,Domino,God gave rock 'n'roll you 2,Every time I look at you and I just wanna. The makeups gone, but the rock remains. I must have for Kiss fans.

Dislike the fact that all of the insert was not with CD. I bought it because I needed it in my collection. The disc was in excellent shape though.

I purchased this CD a few weeks ago knowing only one song on it. Being an avid KISS fan I'd put this album in KISS's top 3 along with "Dynasty" and "Alive II". Revenge has a harder edge than some of their previous releases, as well as being very diverse. No songs sound alike on this album. I can feel Gene Simmons' presence in most of Revenge and it's nice to hear the Eric Carr track in honor of the late drummer.
Whether you are a KISS fan or just a hard rocker, I believe you'll enjoy "Revenge"!
