Every woman can relate to this novel, no matter your age. As I was nearing the end of The Summerhouse I just didn't want it to end (it was that good). I was overjoyed to find this Return to Summerhouse and enjoyed it just as much. I hope Deveraux will consider making this a series of Summerhouse novels. I am a thriller and mystery reader but once I read one of Deveraux's books, I was impressed. Ordinarily, I stay away from what I consider romance novels. I have discovered her novels are about strong women who always find a way to win. I love that. Also, I've discovered that of the novels of hers that I've read, they all contain enough mystery and thriller-type intrigue to satisfy me. The characters are all strangers with VERY individual personalities but they all must work together to make everything as it should be. Highly recommended from a 63-year-old, been around the block a few times, female.

I like Jude Deveraux's books. I bought this book coz I enjoyed the First one (Summerhouse) so much. But this one lacks something. It's not as good as the first one.

) The story was great, although I have not yet read the summerhouse, and have heard that the story line is similar. I bought this book in an airport and had half of the book read on my 2 hour flight... it was sooo good that I couldn't seem to put it down. In between working on my business trip I had the book read in a matter of a few days!!
