The whole movie revolves around his life and the person that he was. Jon Voight does a fabulous job of taking over the role as Woodrow Call. Woodrow Call teams up with another former Texas Ranger and they set off on an adventure driving wild horses across the plains with a somewhat misfit outfit. Gus has a halfbreed daughter that is bitter at him until she finds the real truth about her father. The unanswered questions come together to make a wonderful story! A MUST HAVE for all the western lovers.

My dad loved the Lonesome Dove movie and when my sister was home from Austria she took Return to Lonesome Dove home with her. My dad hunted high and low for it,couldn't figure out where it went. So I had been looking for Return to Lonesome Dove to replace his copy. Found it here and he has watched it several times already. Was in great condition. My dad turned 73 today and it's these simply pleasures he enjoys.

My husband and I love westerns. We really enjoy the lonesome dove trilogies. We searched for it in stores and were unable to find it. We were glad to find it on EBAY.

Certainly gave you an idea how hard and unforgiving the "old west" was.

Return to Lonesome Dove is one of the most entrancing movies ever produced. The characters come to life in this old time western. This is a sweeping epic that stays with you long after the dvd player is turned off. While on the long side, the final result is worth the time. Return to Lonesome Dove is a movie to recommed to your friends and family.

WOW, this is one of the best movies ever, even if you don't like westerns you will still love this. it shows you how it use to be when men stood up for what they beleived in and how important a mans word was back then. i would suggest everyone see this movie and the collection that goes with it.

I am a big fan of Lonesome Dove. I had seen Return To Lonesome Dove before. Though the main big actors were gone like Tommy Lee Jones,Angelica Houston, and Jessica Lang it was still good. It has some great actors and a great plot and I thought that John Voight who protrayed Woodrow did an excellent job.
The music just hits a note in your heart you never forget it. You always remember it when you hear it.Though it can never top the first it comes in a very close second to me.

I never got it. I paid the girl for it and a month later i still not got it. I emailed her time after time and she ignores me. So I gave her bad feedback and now got her in a dispute. I never got my money back or anything.

What can I say, This is an excellent western series. Voigt, Hershey and Schroder played their parts extremely well. I loved the scenery in Montana
and Texas. It is a must see.

I have liked the movie since it first aired on CBS. Great Movie. See Lonesome Dove first before watching this movie.

Very good price on this hard to find item..My father that is sick, has been looking for this dvd...we had purchased it from a different seller and they never sent it and after about 6 weeks they said they couldn't get it. Dad was disappointed...but this seller has come thru for us, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

This movie stirs the emotions well. It's exciting to see how the original "lonesome dove" continues. Now I have the series of 4 of the epics, and enjoy watching them over and over. Return to Lonesome Dove is hard to find, however.

What I liked about the DVD was that it was still brand new and the discs were not scratched-up. I love the story and the only real part of the movie that I disliked was when Woodrow had so many chances to tell Newt that he was his father and just didn't have enough courage, guts, or nerve to tell him so. I just wanted to hit Woodrow myself for letting PRIDE get in the way. The reason why I decided to buy it was because, I need it for my collection. The whole Lonesome Dove series is a great traditional set of movies. Now All I need is "Deadman's Walk" and "Streets Of Laredo" to complete my collection. The Greatest Western Movies Ever Made of The West of how it really was.

Loved this movie it is filmed in stuningly beautiful locations and the action never stops it has kept me mesmorized all through it. Its a long movie but it keeps you captivated best western to come out in a long time one of the best of the lonesome dove series which are all great. Hard to beat!!!

I am an AVID Lonesome Dove Series fan!!! I have the entire series on VHS Tape have just begun to purchase it on DVD and I'm finding out how expensive some of them are. If you liked Lonesome Dove you'll like Return to Lonesome Dove!!

The whole of the Lonesome Dove series is probably one of the most accurate reproductions of the American settlements during the "Wild West" era.
All Americans should take the opportunity to view these tales of their Heritage, so that they can grasp a more accurate understanding of their roots, rather than the highly fantisized versions they are normally romanced with!
For those from other nations these are still a good tool for educating early North American history.

One of most enjoyable movies I've seen in a long time. It really makes a person become involved in the action taking place. This movie is far better than the other Lonesome Dove movies I've seen. This movie has an outstanding cast.

I love the movie, but the sound quality is not very good. The plot is a thin. And stringing barb wire up makes no sense. He made a lot of problems by himself.

Daddy wanted this movie and was so glad that I found. Now he won't be able to see it for he went to be with the Lord 3/8/09.
