The Return of Jafar (DVD, 2005)

I am putting together a Disney movie collection for my daughter; now 18 years old, she just loves these movies. She wants these movies for her children some day too, so I decided to get them on DVD so she can have them forever. We have them all in VHS, but they are quite old with skips in the tapes. By purchasing the DVD version; we noticed a quality picture with much better sound.

I love all the Disney movies - my kids do too. We loved the first Aladdin and wanted to see what the second was about. Cute movie, still love the crazy genie! Excellent movie choice.

I think this was the 2nd movie, the first was Aladdin, my son used to watch this over and over and over when he was little, now he is 18, so I bought on dvd for my grandson to watch.

I enjoy buying Disney movies for my children to watch with the entire family and not have to worry about foul language, nudity or violence. My girls enjoyed watching Alladin and wanted to watch The Return of Jafar as well. They thought it was great watching a movie in that a poor homeless young adult had a dream of changing his life and he acomplished his dream and never gave up even though there was a bad guy trying to take over the kingdom. Alladin was able to save the Kingdom for his new Father-in-law. Great movie the the entire family.

what hated was that it had names written on it and it was already opend .But it was in really good condtion .and it was fact delivery .I bougt for my 2 year old and he loved either way

I was disappointed that the art seemed to be quite different from the first Aladdin. Everyone's face is drawn more coarsely, as is the Magic Carpet's design. There aren't as many songs, and they aren't as good, but what more can you expect from a sequel? This movie is pretty mediocre, with a good ending.

I love this movie. I cant wait to have the complete collection. But the main part I love is when jafar has jasmine hostage and aladdin goes to save her and she tries to seduce jafar.. Great movie. I get excited thinking about it.

It was brand new condition and I got it for a steal!! It made the best birthday gift for my boyfriend's 24th birthday.

The dvd was scratched and dirty...unable to be watched. Almost damaged my dvd player because it would not play it or eject it for quite a while. It will probably require my purchasing another dvd...new and in perfect condition. Disappointed because I was so much looking forward to watching this movie and adding it to my collection.

You know, usually I do not like sequels. It is like, if you cannot explain it all in the first shot, why bother? However, instead of dragging on a story and beating it to death, Disney brings out a whole 'nother bag full of fun and tricks that make the entire family - young ad old - laugh and feel just that - young and old (!) - again! Love it! Apparently others do, too, for it is hard for me to win some of these auctions!!! ha ha

The movie is in great condition, adnd i coulen't wait to get it on dvd. It was at a great price so it was perfect. It has also been put in the DVD disney vault.

The condition of the DVD box was damaged. At first I thought that it might have broken the DVD the way it looked. HOwever, the DVD itself was fine.

I purchased all the disney movies on VHS when our first daughter was born back in '91. Well needless to say I started getting them recently on dvd. Our kids may be older now but they still love the animated disney movies. Great family movies to enjoy together, I recomend to all families to invest in Disney movies for the family.
