This movie is as fun and campy as the original Batman series from the 60's! When the Batmobile gets stolen, Adam West and Burt Ward take off on one last adventure. It includes original favorites like the Riddler and Catwoman. It is a must for any Batman Fans.

A reflexive, meta-level television reunion movie, RETURN TO THE BATCAVE reunites Adam West and Burt Ward, along with some of their co-stars, from the campy 1960s BATMAN show. When the original Batmobile is stolen from a car museum, West and Ward jump into action, investigating the theft and in the process taking on their famous old roles as crimefighters Batman and Robin. They soon discover that the clues to the case are linked to their own pasts, and their memories of the behind-the-scenes conflicts and comedy on the show are dramatized in flashback sequences by actors playing the duo. RETURN TO THE BATCAVE still contains the ridiculous, campy humor of the original series by enveloping the actors in the same sort of universe as the characters they once played.

A very entertaining, behind-the-scenes history of the Batman series as told by "Batman and Robin" themselves in an all-new adventure! Excellent casting for the flashbacks is a real tribute and just fun to watch! Holy awesome!!!

A total throw back to the nonsense and camp that made the BATMAN television series of the 60's fantastic! In this 2005 made for t.v. movie we are given a some-what behind the scenes glimpse of how it was on set,of at the time the most popular show on the planet with a cheesy comedic flare! With a out-landish sub-plot of someone stealing the batmobile in present time.A must see for a true BATMAN enthusiast.This was also the last television preformance of the late,great FRANK GORSHIN as the riddler.

I decided to buy this dvd because I enjoyed the tv show as reruns when I was a kid. I was always excited to see the adventures of Batman and Robin every Saturday afternoon, and people would see me running up and down the supermarket aisles with a tea towel wrapped around my neck. This dvd is a great "reprisal" of the goofiness and humour of the tv series, along with the backstory of how Adam West and Burt Ward got into the show. I recently watched it with my dad, and we laughed our asses off! Get this movie!!!

What a show, silly funny campy it is all there just like the 60's show that made these two house hold names.

I love this movie! This dvd is step back in time to the days of the outrageous 60's tv era when Adam West and Burt Ward portrayed the cheesy yet courageous civil characters of Batman and Robin. Any pre teen or teen then had to imagine once in a while they were iether or of the Caped Crusaders and donned thier rooms and toyboxes with anything Batmanish. The quality is fine and the settings meaningful.

I wished the movie spent more time in the past than it does, with more time devoted to the good old gadgets and vehicles they used so long ago. This is a good capper for anyone who feels there's just not enough in one's collection.
I would like to see more of the good ole days revisited both in this genre and others.

I love reunion shows. It gives you a chance to catch up to some of the old stars and what they look like today. I'm glad that the didn't try to put Adam West and Burt Ward back into their tights, but figured a new way to put them together again with some of their old Bat-Villains. So if you loved the TV series Batman I think that you might like this as well. I know that I did. So get your tights on and Return Back To The Batcave, for one wild and funny ride.
