Standardbred Horses - Underlooked Resources

Having owned, trained, and sold hundreds of Standardbreds,I see eye to eye with Robyn and Mary Ann and their views.
Forget what you "think" you know about racehorses, as this book almost completely dispels many popular notions.
It covers fairly in depth how to get inside the head of a racehorse, and points out many instances of their life in the racing world and how it affects them as well as their behavior.
A valuable tool in retraining a horse that already knows many basics
"But aren't they driving horses only?"
NO! This book shows you the basics on how to make a very pleasurable riding horse!
Also includes a list of Adoption Agencies
Would definitely recommend this book for anyone wanting to have a horse, have it safely, and on a budget
