Aptly titled, "Resurrection Men" suits this novel well

As with most novels I read, and I read several each month, the title first catches my eye, and if the accompanying breviary sets the hook, I will purchase it and almost always enjoy the book. Such was the case with
"Resurrection Men". In this instance, it was an audio novel, read by Joe Dunlop who performed like the seasoned story teller he is, throughout this unabridged novel.
The author, Ian Rankin, fetches the indomitable character of Inspector John Rebus once again. Inspector Rebus teams up with the lovely Detective Sergeant Siobhan Clarke, to unravel a mysterious murder of an art dealer. The story is quite involved and several times I found that I had to back track to read, or in this case, listen to certain chapters again to try and keep up with this very twisted and complex plot. But it all comes together rather nicely near the end, as most novels do, and a few unexpected surprises await the reader along the, so be prepared to be surprised.
I rated this novel quite high and recomend it to any reader who enjoys Rankin's work, or for those who just want a good mystery/thriller novel to keep them company on a cold winter night. As with much of Ian Rankin's work, this novel is worth your time and it will keep you involved until the last page...
