How to Restore Classic Toy Cars, Trucks, Tractors, & Airplanes by Dennis David (2003, Paperback)

I bought this book because of it's title. Unfortunately the title is not representative of the information inside. I am a hands on restorer and the toys shown are converted into something else if parts are missing. It is a novice approach to restoration and not someone that is detail oriented.

This would be a good book for someone who is just starting to collect and restore toys. For someone who has been doing restorations for awhile, the techniques covered would be self-evident. I was hoping for ideas on complications or more difficult repairs. I am working on a Doepke grader like the one in the book, but he covers only about half of the problems a well-used example of this toy has.
His sources for repair parts are useful, though you might find them through an internet search.
