No doubt this is one great movie. I first saw this one on T.V. I believe it was on the Sci-Fi Channel then one day I saw it was out in the store at Walmart and I grabbed it up without hesitation because I knew I had to have it for my rather large movie collection. This is a movie that will definitely keep you watching, and in suspense to the end. It is pretty bloody, and gorey so if that's what you like in a movie then this is one you must add to your collection. I could watch this one with no problem more than once, and believe me I already have. I give this movie a 5 Star Rating.

I wont recommend this movie coz it's too damn gory..nor will I say it's awful coz this is one of those movies you either like or you hate..personally I liked it ok, but the gore kinda ruined it for me..the ending was stupid..major stupid but no different from other horror movies I have seen..you have to see it to judge for yourself!!

) The movie was good for about 15 minutes , then got awfully STUPID! Please , do NOT buy this crap. If you are just really curious ....rent it , you'll thank me later. The best part of the DVD is the "Short film" in the special features. Again , the movie is hot garbage, save your money and go see Rob Zombie's Halloween in August, lol .

I am a HUGE horror movie fan and grabbed this as soon as it came out...silly me. Yes there is alot of gore (which I LOVE) but the plot is lame and makes little sense. It seems like they were going for a big "Mix the genres so they wont know what to expect" type movie but in the end it was just a mess. was it a slasher? no. Was it a monster? No. Was it all in there mind? No. was it witchcraft? No. Was it a dream? No....OR MAYBE IT WAS ALL OF THE ABOVE AT THE SAME TIME WooOOOooo! It was junk. A headscratcher for all the wrong reasons.

What can I say, I love horror movies. "Rest Stop" is an average slasher flick. The stoy line is alot like other films of this type,Young couple(or group of friends)find themselfs in a fight for their lifes.The acting and the filming
are above average. The story line is full of holes,the scene in the motorhome leaves you wondering who the hell this people are and why are they there. all in all I would have to say that you should not go out of your way to watch this but if you have a chance to see it do so, it's an average movie but still entertaining. If you like slasher movies you won't be dissapointed.

I bought this item a couple of weeks ago. I saw the movie on tv and decided that I would like to have this one for my collection. There isn't anything that I don't like about this movie. If you are in to horror movies, this is one that you would enjoy watching. It keeps you on your toes.

This movie had a lot of suspension- and a lot more than expected. I thought the movie seemed a bit typical when I was lucky to catch it on TV. I watched it anyway while I was working on my computer, and it was so good that I stepped away from my work to watch this movie. It has some predictable parts like any horror movie, but so many parts left you shocked. It's a little bit gorey, but it keeps you guessing for the most part, and the end is interesting and to me, unexpected. I actually want to buy the dvd so my girlfriend can see it. I highly recommend this, as it's not near as cheesy as it sounds!

'Rest Stop' is not the best movie ever but it is entertaining enough for at least a single viewing if nothing more. There is some great shock value (in shock value I mean, "I can't believe they let them do that on TV!"). It's amazing what they are getting away with these days as far as gore goes. Not much of a cast here but Joey Lawrence does make a surprise appearance. There are several of those parts where you wonder why these people do such stupid things and the story really does not provide any closure. It just leaves you wondering about all the plot holes left behind. But if you don't expect a masterpiece you may enjoy this one despite all the moments of stupidity it suffers from. Rental/TV material, nothing more. 3/5
