Great action story line the struggle to over come one of mans greatest biological weapons. The first two of the series they cronical the evolution of a life re animation bacteria. If you enjoy shooting, fighting and Zombies you will enjoy the Redident Evil series, great effects, costumes and makeup. A must see for Zombie lovers!

I LOVE THE MOVES BUT I THINK THE ACTRESS MADE THE MOVIES TO WHAT THEY ARE AT A #1 MOVIES.. 1 RESIDENT EVIL, 2 RSIDCENT EVIL APOCALYPSE & 3 RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION,,,BUT THE BEGINNING IS THE MOVIE ULTRAVIOLET WHICH SHE PLAYED A GOOD BUT BAD GIRL. SHE HAS ALL THE GREAT ACTION MOVES IN ALL THE MOVIES WHICH BRINGS YOU BACK FOR MORE, BESIDES, ALL THE MOVES ARE GREAT, WITH OUT ALOT TO MUCH GORE & BLOOD.

Pretty good Movie. Its based off a popular video game. It keeps pretty close to the story. If you played the games youll enjoy this movie

I loved paying with a money order. I bought it because i could pay with a money order. I have not made a purchase on ebay since they have done away with paying by money order. There are other sites that accept money orders which I have used and am happy with. Ebay will no longer be an option for me until they stop dictating payment "options" that I will not use!

To celebrate the (then) upcoming release of Resident Evil: Extinction, this double-pack contains the first Resident Evil movie and the sequel, Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

The first movie, Resident Evil, focuses on what happens when an outbreak of a deadly virus happens in a secret private corporation facility deep underground... and what happens when a special team is sent in to see what happened and recover information. The main character, Alice, isn't from any of the games this movie is (loosely) based upon, but fits well into the franchise like the other new-to-the-franchise characters.
The script itself is a little dry and predictable, but the special effects are top-notch and the acting itself is great for a video game movie. Milla Jovovich does a great job as main character, but the rest of the cast is mostly forgettable. The real star here, though, are the Zombies - and I don't think I've seen them rendered more brutally outside the Romero movies.

The sequel, Apocalypse, starts us off with the virus escaping to Raccoon City, stationed above the previous movie's lab. Alice interacts with both new characters and characters showing up from the video games as all try to find a way out of the city before the Umbrella Corporation decides to unleash a nuclear bomb to 'sterilize' the city.
The script for this movie is a serious step down from the previous one, embracing the campy idea of making a video game movie. Lines are cheesey and utterly B-movie territory... yet the casting is a rather high moment for the series. Oded Fehr makes a rather surprising apperance as 'Carlos Olivera,' a pre-established character from the games alongside Sienna Guillory as another fan-favorite 'Jill Valentine.' Milla Jovovich returns as Alice, and her role is an interesting one to watch, considering the character's ever-evolving talents. And, of course, the effects are as top-notch as ever - the Nemesis being a most excellent real-live translation of the villain from the games.

Despite being a two-disc feature, it's interesting to note that both movies are actually on the first disc. Neither movie suffers from this fact, meaning that the compression rate is a good one. There are no commentary tracks, but you can also watch the movies in French with 5.1 surround sound if you so desire. This leaves all the special features to the second disc... which contain nothing of the previous releases, instead a handful of simple concepts and a preview for (then) upcoming Extinction. However, there's also a short preview for the coming-out-late-December-2008 CGI movie Resident Evil:Extinction, which is at least worth glancing at. It's not bad, but ultimately a touch disappointing.

Long story short, if you don't own these two movies already, and don't mind losing most of the bonus features found in the earlier releases, it won't kill you to pick up this (somewhat cheap) release. If you've already got one or both of the movies, though, don't bother - the previous releases are already so much better.

Wanted both movies in one case. I did not care if the movies were on one DVD or two, as long as it was both movies together. Got exactly what I wanted. Even got extra DVD with special features. It was listed as new, never opened. I received a new, never opened DVD.
I decided to buy it because I saw the new movie that was 3rd in a series. I wanted one and two.

Milla is no Uma Thurman (in Kill Bill), But she does all right with the "martial" arts. I happen to like zombie movies, and attractive women. These deliver it in spades. Valentine is the most"animie" looking real person I have ever seen, and adds a surreal touch to her character.
This ain't Shakespear, folks. But it pulled together, and did the franchise well. It is a watchable, tight trilogy. The different directors are evident, and there would have been a more satisfied feeling with the continuation of some of the characters in the later episodes. But, put some corn in the popper and sit the kids down for a scare.

Another action packed SCI-FI sequel. Kind of expect the zombies, but the main character (Alice) and her cohorts are nearly always ready. Also, has a few unethical scientists who could care less for life; just their own amusement and advancement.

I like the movie. So I wanted to buy it. Its a great movie. Its was great shipping came when it was suposed to come.

Way better than Tomb Raider and both were started as computer games. The storyline keeps going and gets better. The third movie should be the final movie though unless they want to show more zombies getting their heads ripped off by this lovely womans legs. After all she now has an army of clones to take down Umbrella Corp.

When the first Resident evil came out I was thrilled to see it. The zombie theme took on a new and exciting twist. When the 2nd Resident evil came out I was not as impressed, however, it did keep my attention and it kept me in suspension to see the last in the trilogy. Although in trilogies it is difficult to keep the material fresh, I think they did a good job of trying not to repeat the same plot. I am hoping that they continue on with the Resident evil movies, I will be sure to see them.

I love the movies!! They are very intense, and are very thrilling. I decided to buy it because I have seen RE: Extinction, and loved it...so I decided to give the first 2 movies a try. I also am a fan of the games too. I really advise you to purchase these movies if you are fan of the movies or the games. You will not regret it.

I am able to view the DVD on my laptop nor in DVD player. This is a ripe off. The seller did not try to make it right

The first two Resident Evil movies in one box set. These movies are really good science fiction movies. Milla Jovovich is sexy and I love to watch her. This is a really good zombie killing set.

i have always liked these movies and I bought these to increase my ever growing collection of movies. Now, I have all three Resident Evil movies. I thought that is was a great movie. The end left a lot to the imagination. Who know what will happen in the fourth movie. I know that I am looking forward to the release.

I decided to buy this movie because I love movies like this and it was a GREAT price for two movies. I love the price of the two movies. There's nothing at the moment that I dislike about it.

Not only am I a sucker for Milla Jovovich, but I have played every single version of Resident Evil. This is a must see for any Resident Evil fan...the directors really try and hold true to the game. The extras included in this are also awesome. Overall, the movie alone is well worth the price...the extras are just bonus!!!
