Resident Evil 5 is a Must Have for those who like to combine horror with a game! The fifth part is the first Resident Evil I played, but I can already after the first 8% of the game say that I will any part of this series, which is still guaranteed to follow will be for sale.
Exceptionally well I liked it that the player often referred to during the video sequences is required, in which he is the right moment a button!
However, I think that if you look at this game then, respectively uncut!

My sons begged for this game. They loved it. The graphics are awesome. They can't wait for a new one. They said it was the best zombie game ever made!
The extra stuff was also cool!
Thanks

Graphics: Excellent 9.0/10
Sound: Excellent 9.0/10
Gameplay: Very Good 7.5/10
Replay: Great 8.5/10
Overall: Great 8.5/10

Note to the reader: I have been playing the Resident Evil Series since it’s introduction on the Playstation One.

Graphics: Excellent 9.0/10
The graphics are excellent, the cut-scenes and in-game graphics are seamless, and this is as good as Capcom has done for this series. The shadows, lighting effects, and motions are great, and really immerse you into the game. The zombies, the backgrounds, and environments are detailed, rich, and engrossing.

Sound: Average – 9.0/10
The thing that Capcom has always nailed in this series is the sound, and this game is no exception. The sounds of the groans, the heightening tension of the music when an attack is coming, and the sounds of the weapons are dead on. The ambiance is set in the different areas by the increasing tones of heightening sense of importance through the use of music in this game.

Some may say that the voice work is poor, but it goes right along with the “cheesy” style that this series has always had, and the delivery is spot on for those that have been with the series for some time.

Gameplay: Very Good – 7.5/10
Let me start by saying that when playing this game with a friend in the co-op mode, there is nothing better. Having to people that can communicate and work together makes this game perfect. However, that being said, when this game is played in offline mode, it is not the best experience. The computer ally A.I. will shoot you in the back, use herbs unnecessarily, and not help in the most critical times of the game.

Replay Value – Great 8.5/10
Once the game is over, you will most likely be wanting more. Luckily, there are many unlockables, difficulty levels, and time runs to keep you busy for some time. To upgrade every weapon alone (without glitching) would take 6-8 playthroughs! The mercenaries mode, further co-op adventures, and just general playing will keep you coming back for more.

The score would have been greater if Capcom didn’t already include multiplayer on the disk, and charge $5 to download the unlock patch to play multiplayer. This is a trend I do not wish to se continue.

Overall – Great 8.5/10
This is a great game, do not get me wrong, but it is not perfect. This game is a detour off the survival horror that the series has created, and perfected, and has gone down the pure action path. This is not a bad thing, but the controls don’t lend themselves to that type of gameplay.

With less suspense, more gripping events because of the sheer amount of enemies, and over the top ammo and drive of the game, it is a mixture of Resident Evil 4, Gears of War, and the Matrix. Where this game does many things right, it is flawed and glitch in just as many areas. If this were any other title, it would not have been as scrutinized as closely as it was in this title.

Resident Evil 4 was, and still is, on my top 5 games of all time. This game will not place on that list, but I must recommend it just for the sheer fun, playability, and co-op opportunities that are available. This is a must play.

  Great Third Person Shooter

This is a great addition to the Resident Evil Saga. The Co-op two player mode is fun, with a good partner. There is actually a lot of things and secret items to unlock so this game will keep you pretty busy even after you beat it. I'd say the replay value is fairly high. Although playing alone isn't too much fun because the computer isn't that great of a partner. There is also a mini-game if you want to call it that, called "The Mercenaries". This is great, just killing zombies non-stop. The only warning or problem I have with this game is, almost overheating your console due to an extended amount of playing time. I felt my Xbox 360 after the first time I played RE5, (8 Straight Hours) and thought my hand would melt. Nonetheless, This is a great game if you like Resident Evil.

A must own, but fans might be cautious.

A fairly good entry in the Resident Evil series. The controls have been improved since RE4, and it is a very good looking game. However, it is also a least scary in the series. There are very few times when you'll jump out of your seat, and if your heart is pumping in this game, it's from adrenaline, not terror.

Die hard fans of the series may find the story a bit lacking. Don't get me wrong, it dose it's job well (wraping up a few loose ends in the series). But seeing some characters not having the attention they should get. It's also hard to coin this as a "survival horror" game.

Regardless, if you are looking for a great co-op shooter for your 360 or PS3, there are few titles better than this one. The controls are well done. The graphics are top notch. The AI is responsive (especially where your partner is concerned). And it's a great game over all that will make you want to come back for more (especially when you unlock new weapons, and the Mercenaries mode).

Final Grade: A

A side note: Download the Versus Mode add-on at your own risk. The gameplay dose not lend itself well to Deathmatch style multiplayer.

I sent the seller a question because due to my fault I did not realize the purchase did not contain the game disc. The seller offered to work with me to cancel this order. I am very pleased that they are willing to do this, being this was my error.

Great Package!

Anyway, just want to let you know how you can get a free ps3. Yes, there is a way to get free stuff on the internet, no tricks, and this is legit and has been proving by FOX news, CNN. Just search freebie CNN on youtube and you’ll find it.

Now I’m going to explain it how you can get free stuff
If you want a free ps3, go to this link

http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=5621890

But if you want other stuff instead, go to this

http://www.YourFreeiStuff.com/index.php?ref=5698663

Now you want to put your email and sign up. Believe me, they’re not going to send you any spam emails or anything like that, you can trust this sites as it is scanned everyday by MCaffe’s secure.

After you sign up, they’re going to ask you which account you want to use. I recommend referral account as it is easier.

Next you want to complete your offer requirement to receive credit before you refer to other people.
There are a lot of offers to pick on from, like Gamefly, Netflix, and Emusic. After you do that, you need to gather referrals. For the basic ps3 console, you need 8 referrals. That’s not too bad right? Just tell your family, friends, advertise it on a blog or forums and you will get your referrals.

There’s no commitment by doing this. Even if you don’t want to do the offer requirement, it’s nothing wrong just to check it out =)

Half Human Half Zombie Kill Feast
Review created: 03/10/09

Resident Evil 5 is one of the most anticipated titles of this year. For good reason of course, Resident Evil 4 is considered one of the best games ever made, in a famous and fun franchise with gorgeous visuals and online play. If you loved Resident Evil 4 and have a buddy to play co-op with (either offline split-screen or online), what are you waiting for, this game is a must buy. However, depending on exactly what you're looking for, please take all things considered.

Visually this game is stunning. Not just in the graphics you will see on your way through a stage, gunning down Majini, kicking off hyenas, and torching up giant leech monsters. This game, like it's predecessor. does a wonderful job at paying attention to detail. There is almost never a moment where you can't take a breather, smell the roses, and look at beautiful nitpicky details the developers put in. Even better is that through the game there are BSAA Medals to shoot and collect to purchase unlockables. Just by examining your beautiful scenery you may just find something you hadn't noticed before. However, the game's later areas, with a few exceptions, are noticeably not as visually interesting as the African Village, The later areas take on a darker more sinister and ominous or ruggid tone, which is great for atmosphere, but doesn't look as visually pleasing as the first few sub-chapters.

Sound is also top-notch. Voice acting ranges from decent to stupendous, but overall fitting. The music catches almost every moment perfectly and provides a track that is genially interesting and pleasing to listen too. The enemies also have wondrous audio settings, with great sound draw-distance, and when done in high quality surround sound, sound like the enemies are about to get you.

This game has huge production values, that's for sure. However, a game can't save itself with great visuals and sound if the rest is flawed. And unfortunately, the game does have flaws.

Story is one of the biggest mixed bags I have ever seen. The story starts off so interesting and the characters development is intense, however it seems halfway through the game the developers got a bit lazier and then delivers in corny Hollywood-style dialogue, bizarre plot twist which will seriously piss off some long-term fans, and so much build up only to lead to one of the most bland and uninspired endings I have ever seen to a game which started off with such an interesting story, but trailed too much off it's trail to try and link it to past games, but in the end will probably alienate it as the game that ruined the old game plot lines. To note, while extreme detail is given to some areas of the story, some things that you keep on questioning are never answered and leaves you wondering why they pulled some of the stuff they did, and to make it worse these details, while unimportant to the overall story, cause you feeling like there's a plot hole when there really is none.

And before I get to the meat of our bones of this review, it's to note that as a Resident Evil game, this one is not really scary. There are moments that you will jump, you will be scared, and you will be creeped out. In fact, there's even moments where you feel like you're playing one of the old games in a new engine. However, this is quite possibly the least scary of all 5 of the numerical titles. And for something that dubs itself survival-horror, this is important to some individuals.

  UMBRELLA REVIEW
Review created: 03/09/09

I was lucky to have a friend on holiday when this game came out in Jaoan so i was able to get hold of it a week before its UK release. There first thing you'll notice is that the graphics are very highly detailed not just characters but enemies as well theres also a large array of guns avilable as well. The story takes place in Africa in a fictional African Village at least thats where you start, you take controll of resident 1 and CV character Chris Redfield and through the cam you'll be assited by his new partner Sheva Almor intrestignly you can also play on line and off line co op witch gives the game a better spin. I don't want to give to mutch away but a two old faces turb up you can probably already guess who from the numberous trailiers but there are some amazing cut scenes and expert motion capture scenes. Ozwell E Spencer finally shows up as well after almost eleven years off being in the shadows. The enemies in this game are amzing at first they may seem just like the gandos from RE 4 but you'll see there very different the boss battles and sub bosses are great and you'll soon be thrust into one right from the start of the game. Also keep your eye out for the lickers from RE 2 because they make an apperance as well. The story moves along smoothly and at good pace you'll spen the first half of game pursuing Ricardo Irving a Bio weapons terriost working for TRi Cell and the later half of the game trying to stop Albert Wesker from unl;ease the Ourobors Virus it all finishes of with a final battle with wesker at the top of a volcano. After completing the game you'll unlock alternate costumes and the mercanires mini game witch evry body knows from RE 4 is great fun and highly addictive. Althoug htheres no denying this game is great and very challenging it isn't really scary theres nothing really in the game that will make you jump although this might not be the same for everyone.

Otheralll and fast paced action shooter witch ties up the story nicely.

Gameplay 10 - Great shoot ups and quite intense boss battle a superb some people wont like the invertory system or the real time rloading but it makes it lot more realistic

Graphics 10 - Characters, Enemies and enviroments all look great

Music/Sound 10 - Gun fire and exlposions sound brillant not sure baout the music all the way through but the ending music and most of the other parts sound great

Longetivity 9 - While the mecnaries is great fun and will keep you playing it could have done with more unlockables although the new collecting side of things to unlock figures is a nice touch as well it really could have done with another new mode like RE 4's sperate ways.

39/40 - Great fun and brillant end to a story arc could have done with a couple more unlockables but a great game otherall I'D pre - order now if i where you.

If you can get hold of the collectors edition i'd only buy it if you were a serious fan / collector if you just want to play the game then there really is no need to buy it. It dose come with some great collectors pieces including a TRicell bag, Chris redfield action figure and art work booklet. It is expensive though so i wouldn't go out of your way to purchase it if its just game you wnat go for a cheaper option but if you do want and get can hold of it its worth the money.
