The Greatest game made for the PS2 possibly ever, WOW!

OK, to break it down quickly, here are things I thought were great and the couple of things that weren't great. To start with the bad (if you can call it that):

Controls are still a little difficult but MUCH better than any RE game before it, I personally love them but a couple friends that have tried it (and didn't give it a chance, their loss) said the controls were difficult.
The story isn't the best in the world, but it is pretty cool still and better in my opinion than any other story from the Resident Evil series.
When the girl is with you, it is on rare occassion a pain (but a challenge) to protect her and make sure not to hurt her either, which is actually harder to do than you might think but it happened to me once before.

Now the good:

Graphics are not XBOX 360 but the best the PS2 will probably ever produce, a beautiful game although rather graphic in nature at times (not a problem for me, just letting parents know this isn't for young players at all in my opinion).
Sound is eerily appropriate for each situation, and there really is nothing more beautiful than the sound of a chainsaw, except when it cuts your head off :).
Customization of your weapons and the choices is FANTASTIC. Being able to upgrade all facets of most of your weapons and being able to launch mines in a Resident Evil game is definetly a plus.
Enemies are some of the most ingeneous and creepy that I've seen (blind dude with stitches over eyes, claws for hands and great sense of hearing, and the only way to hurt it is with a growth in the back, and my personal favorite, the zombies that have hot spots that show up with the infrared scope and have spikes that come out of their bodies when you get close, and oh that creepy noise they make, the enemy I hated facing most outside a couple of the bosses). Most bosses were great as well, very challenging as a whole, making you learn the hard way sometimes what not to do in certain boss fights.
Cooler Leon than in Resident Evil 2, kinda remind me of me (just joking), but outside the kind of annoying girl character that accompanies you (not Ada, she is definetely cool) all characters are pretty interesting.
Extras are great, more to play than the Gamecube, and mini games to play once you've beaten the game and more challenges await should you choose to play through again (and trust me, most of you will want to)

Overall, very little bad, and much to praise in a game that I've never regretted spending the money on, and one that I'll keep for years to come, like the Final Fantasy and Lunar series. A true classic with no real flaws.
