Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PlayStation, 1999)

Excellent game! I'd be surprised if someones reading this and hasn't played this game yet. A new look to the Resident Evil franchise.

A great game and it takes place in Raccoon City(LOVE IT)! You basically meet Nemesis who is set out to destroy S.T.A.R.S so you are on the run the whole time. You move into a garage.....he is there.....you move into the park....he is there....HECK....you move into the Police Department and he is there. It's insane. Your heart actually starts to beat fast when you see him. I suggest you buy this game if you have not played it already.

The stupid people I bought it from wont return my calls. Ebay sent me a message 3 weeks ago telling me that they got a complaint from EGAMEuniverse that I had not fully purchased my game. I then explained in an email that I need EGAMEuniverse's address whereas I can send them the money order, and ebay never wrote me back. Nothing ever got done. I will not use Ebay ever again. Something should have been done and wasnt. Its the highest form of incompetence.

It was scratched and would not work. We knew it was used but we thought it was playable. My son-in-law wanted it because it was no longer available in the stores to purchase. We were pleased to find it on ebay but I would be hesitant to purchase games again.

Return to Raccoon City as one of the Best Resident Evil Charecters and face the true power of Umbrella can you survive. Resident Evil 3 was and still is one of the the biggest braking points in the Resident Evil serise. New features include making your own ammo from gun powder. Improved graphics a new mini game the mecenaries and the new life sections and Nemmisis secret boxes.

The Story

2 months after the the manson incident. Chief irons (Re - 2) as all but dismantled the S.T.A.R.S. Chris and Barry have left for Europe hoping to find away to defeat Umbrella. However Jill Valentine as stayed behind to work on Umbrella but thats when it happened...
The Outbreak as begun and Raccoon City is rapidly becoming consumed in the T-Virus whil Umbrella sends in special forces to control this situation but it looks like there could be another motive to there plan.

Gameplay
Controls follow orignal Resident Evil and are easy to follow. Enviroments are richly textured and include ; Raccoon City streets , St Micheals Clocktower , City hall and the return of R.P.D plus many other locations.

Creatures
Now that the city is infected countless numbers of zombies roam the streets. Jill is left to wander Raccoon City looking for an escape route. Along you'll meet some classic Re creatures and some new ugly faces will rear there heads. Zombies come in many different styles and uniforms and now they are faster with a higher agression level. Dog , crows and the Hunter returns however expect surprise when meeting these foes.

The Nemmsis
With out a dout your biggest threat. Created in the early experiment but as a taken a long time to master The Nemmsis is litteraly a host for the Nemmsis parasite. Nemmsis will stalk jill through the city and is programmed to kill her and anyone who stands in his way. Which Brad witnesses first hand very near the begining of the game. Nemmsis unlike other creatures as the abilty to follow you around the city from room to room and as the advantage of somtimes carry a stinger missile launcher.

The Prelude to evil

Resident Evil three is a brillant game and as many new features but remains very similar to past titles but it as a ground breaking story line brillant monsters and ace boss battles. You have a amomary of weapons at your disposal at least on easy. But if your a true Re fan then you should try hard first to really get the feel of the game its very diffucult but is worth it at the end.

Picture of listing was misleading. Wouldn't have purchased the product. When we received it the case was broken and CD had a scratch on it. I bought it for my husband and he won't put it in his collection.

This game is awesome!
What can i say? It's a obvious classic.
If you grew up with ps1 you had to have the resident evil collection.
The nemesis is an excellent addition and the game is non stop fun.

He loves the resident evil games and I have to say that I find them a lot of fun to play as well.

This game has a bit more action than previous Resident Evil games. The Nemesis will frequently take you by surprise when he shows up. The game has a new feature where certain items and enemies are located randomly so it's not so predictable each time you play through the game. This includes where and when the Nemesis shows up as well. Plenty of ammo can found as well as made by using the unique reloading tool combined with gunpowder you find lying around. Another unique feature involves the screen stopping at various points and offering you two choices, giving you only seconds to decide.

Even more action is brought to you through the mercenaries mini game that is unlocked when you beat the actual game. This mode can be used to purchase powerful weapons for use in the actual game. In addition to all of this you still have the regular Resident Evil game play from the previous versions. Solve puzzles, fight or run from hordes of zombies, and watch the story of the conspiracy unfold. For those looking for a challenge, get this game and try killing the Nemesis on every encounter on the hardest difficulty, and try the mercenaries with Nicholi.

I recommend this game to all survival horror fans and anyone who hasn't had the experience of being constantly chased down by the Nemesis.

I bought a hard to find Playstation one Game "Resident Evil 3" The seller had it up for a great price and the shippment was very very fast. Im very happy with the product.

The Resident Evil game series is one that's i've been with since the beginning. 3 is one of the best installments.. It has a interesting story line, decent graphics (For a ps1 game) good music, scary cut scenes, and it is the only game of it's kind to let you choose to make split second decisions that will the the outcome of the game. It can't compare to new age graphics, but it still rocks like super mario. It is truly one of a kind!

Resident Evil 3 - This is a good game, but not nearly as good as the previous two. The first one, especially, had spooky moments in the game. Maybe as a player you get used to it, but I thought the first and second games were classic.

It´s a excellent game of CAPCOM,

This is a great ps1 game. Maybe the best psx action rpg! The graphics are just a little blocky but, I think the colors are great! Everything is very detailed and the cut scenes are very cool! Even after playing RE4 this one is still my favorite out of the series.

Resident Evil 3 was a good game that, while not as inteesting as the previous title RE2, still added new game play options such as the choice system, and the Nemesis being able to follow you from room to room. Being unable to really hide from a huge hulking monster with tentacles and a rocket launcher not only made things fresh, but it guaraunteed that the player would always be kept on edge. As the last of the main RE series on the PS1, it did a great job in continuing the story and was an enjoyable entry in the series.

You really can't run or escape from the killer creature in this instalment.The moment you think you have a SECOND to breathe,zombies are around the corner...and they are coming for you! This game is better than the first ones! This new action packed Resident Evil game will leave you wanting more! I hope you will try this one out. I certainly enjoyed it.

An excellent addition to the RE franchise, Nemesis will keep you running! Still the pre-rendered backgrounds like Resident Evil 2, you get to explore even more of Raccoon City, while finding yourself recognizing familiar places, and familiar faces! This one, by far, has the best villain.. Nemesis!
