The Rescuers Down Under (DVD, 2000, Gold Collection Edition)

Without a doubt the best sequel Disney has ever made - mostly because Miss Bianca and Bernard had lots of these kind of adventures in the original books, so they didn't have to make up a sappy romantic sequel. All star voices make it even better - George C. Scott is a GREAT villain (I love his rendition of "Home on the Range") and if anyone remembers Tristan Rogers (Robert from General Hospital) - he has a fun turn as Jake, a kangaroo mouse.
The cell animation is fabulous - it's what made me dream of going to Australia when I was a kid and first saw the movie in the theatres.
I had it on VHS and loaned it to someone and never got it back, I wanted a copy of it because I knew my daughters would love it, too, and I was right!

ANOTHER CLASSIC MOVIE BY THE DISNEY COMPANY. THIS MOVIE WILL BE ENJOYED BY MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.

This movie has a great cast (of voices) as well as lovable screen chatactors. The story keeps young and old viewers entertained through out the movie. The animation was at its top at the time of creation and doesn't lack character as some digitally created movies do today. (Madagascar seems so flat...)A movie the whole family can enjoy. Great that it is now available on dvd -- our vhs copy was wearing out.

I loved this movie as a child and I still love this movie today! I can't wait to share it with my nieces!

This is a gift for my 2 year old grandson. He is thrilled and wants to watch it twice a day. Mom has decided to add it to her arsenal of bahavior modification weapons. He only watches this DVD when he behaves. The movie itself is every bit as good as the original Disney Rescuers movie.

I had this story as a book when I was a child! I loved it! Now, this movie isn't as popular as other Disney movies, but it is still a must have for a true die hard Disney DVD collector! A great family story!

I love this movie, just because of it being a classic Disney Movie. I bought it because I randomly remembered one day how much of a great movie this was. I would recommend it to anyone that is just looking for a fun and exciting movie to watch!

I hope it is never possible to wear out a DVD because my grankids will wear out this one if it is possible! It's the first movie they want to watch and the last! They love the little boy and how he helps animals.

I love it. Great color and good story.. The story goes along pretty fast so you get caught up in the story. It's good for kids..or adults that feel like kids.

This dvd quality has to be re-reviewed, however, this is one of my favorite Disney productions. The best scene is when young Cody is flying with the Great Golden Eagle over a waterfall, just spectacular. A great experience for any family member of any age. John Candy gave a wonderful performance as Wilbur and it just shows how his talented this man was. Great cast, George C Scott, and returning voice talents from the original Rescurers movie. Truely an undiscovered beauty.

This is Disney at its best. This is a timeless classic and I'm glad I picked it up here on Ebay.
This is the sequel to "The Rescuers." It's a Disney cartoon about some mice who help people in need. In this film they head to Australia to help a boy rescue a rare giant eagle.

I cannot review this product because I did not receive it. Although the movie is a great one and I wish I could watch it.

This is a cute Disney cartoon. I bought this movie as a gift to my husband. It was his favorite movie when he was a kid.

My kids needed this DVD to more one step closer to being VHS free & be able to finally bury their VHS player. I've always been a fan of all Disney Animation & this just happened to be one of my daughters favorites. DVD came sealed just as if I had bought it at wal-mart and it was also an American version & not some cheep mylassin bootleg. Seller was absolutly wonderful during the transaction and shipping was quick.

Loved it! DVD was brand new, in original packaging, and shipped to me in just a couple days. This one is hard to find!

I owned the VHS of The Rescuers Down Under and it got ate from the vcr and it's my kids' favorite movie so that's when I decided to go to ebay to look for the dvd cause I couldn't find it in stores.

this is the other movie I purchased and never received. I've never had a problem before with any other sellers. I would caution you about this one.

When my daughter was younger, she would visit her grandmother and loved to watch her favorite movie "Rescuers Down Under". She would curl up on her sofa with "the brown thing" which was a warm fluffy afghan and watch the movie. We were reminiscing a few weeks ago and this came up as a very fond memory, so I searched on eBay for it and bought it for my daughter for Christmas. She was so excited to have it!!!

My 3 year old son loved the original Rescuers, so we got Rescuers Down Under, and it's been his favorite movie to watch. I think it's even better than the 1st one. Very well done.

I love cartoons, fantasy, comical, and mysteries. This is a movie I like very much. Anything that can make me feel happy
