I had heard about the movie Rent, and then viewed it at a friends house, and just had to get my own copy. It was amazing, creative and moving all at the same time. I also got a copy of the soundtrack, which is good too. One suggestion I have is if you have the subtitle option on your TV use it, it helps you follow the songs and conversations better until you know the movie better
