Why wasn't there a sequel to Remo Williams?
This must be one of those movies that doesn't get much attention at the theater, then becomes popular at the video store, which is where we first found it. My kids loved it when they were about 7 and we all continued to enjoy it as they grew up. I had to buy this copy, as my kids are in their 20's now and ours was worn out. It is very quirky, full of action and humor. Joel Grey is a hoot as an ancient Oriental mystic in charge of turning Fred Ward into a martial arts whiz. For those who only know him as a singer/dancer, it may be a shock to see how very funny he can be. There isn't much for a mom to wince about in language or violence. No sexy stuff. We always wondered why they never made a sequel. We would have bought it in the hope that it would be as good as this one. Great for family movie night!
