The Reminder by Feist (CD, May-2007, Interscope Records USA)

Just average - I should have known better when I saw starbucks pushing her sales. Don't get me wrong - I saw her live and loved her but this cd is too commercial. She has a couple great songs but I thought most of the album if fluff.

I first bought this CD because I heard Feist's crystaline and silky voice in a ringtone commercial before I even knew who Feist was. Then, I bought this CD and I liked the rest of My Moon My Man which I didn't hear in the commercial. I also like 1 2 3 4 and Past in Present. What was so joyful in all these tracks was the lyrics and Feist's voice

I love her music! It is different, with both soulful and upbeat songs! I first heard "1234" on a commercial, and my husband, toddler and I decided then and there we just had to buy the CD! That song just makes you want to dance! And, I haven't bought a CD in over a year! The lyrics seem clean, I can play it around my children without worrying about raunchy lyrics. Highly recommended.

Different and innovative without the weirdness of some indie performers. Her voice and guitar are emotional and capture each songs essence like a true artist. Hopefully she will be back in the studio for more soon. This album is great.

This cd i really wanted,but i was willing to pay the price that was at the stores.You had wide variety so i could at list purchase one.Because it always sell fast. The cd is great and your services it's equally marvelous. Thank you very very much.

I had heard a live performance by Feist on local Chicago radio recently. Glad I purchased this CD. It is so very good. I'm a new fan.

A genuinely good sound from a fresh indie artist. Heavily influenced by classy, respectable artists such as Nina Simone and Natalie Cole. Definitely a step up from her less unique debut album (Let It Die), which, though entertaining and easily enjoyable, lacked in originality and cohesion. The Reminder is by far Feist's best work, separating her from her fellow female indie musicians, deeming her a true artist after all.

Bought due to hearing one of the songs on the radio and really liked it. The CD was priced cheap. Turned out to be a great CD, play it often. Shipping was quick. Shipping price was fair.

HAD to have a copy of this CD to be able to listen to 1,2,3,4 at will!

There are a couple of other decent songs on this disc, but the rest, altho perfect in execution, would definately fall into the catagory of "music by which to slit your wrists" : extremely depressing and morose.

All in all, not bad for the price I paid at eBay aution, but I would have been seriously dissapointed if I had given full retail...

Well, what can be said about this artist or this album that hasn’t yet been brought up by two thirds of music journalists, blog writing retards, and pseudo critics? This thing is a meteor of well drafted sentiments, outstanding melodic riffs, educated swing, overwhelming honesty, and marvelous composition and lyric writing. To top it off Feist, the sing song writer behind this album, is modest, cute, and funny. A mainstream album that unlike most hyped albums really needs to be picked up. Enjoy, give in.

I had only heard one of their songs on a commercial, but I really liked it. I decided to buy it because I needed new music and thought that surely more than one song would be worth listening to. Well to my surprise, I love the entire CD. It's great!! I would definitely recommend it.

3 requests to try and resolve with no communication and no refund. This
is by far the most unresponsive seller I have dealt with during my 5
years of purchasing on ebay.

Great music. Lovely voice. Heard the song '1 2 3 4' on a commercial and had to hear the whole thing. I was not disappointed.

I like this album pretty well; however, I don't think it is as good as "Let It Die". A lot of the songs on this album sound similar and the instrumentals do not sound as good as they did on the first album. But, over all it's a pretty good CD with a unique sound.

She's a media darling and an award winner. Nearly everyone can enjoy Feist's music but I recommend listening to it in the dark with your lover. The music is an aphrodisiac to be sure.

This is a great cd. I listen to it all the time. I especially Past is Present and 1234...overall, it's great. love it.

The CD was what I was expecting. There are songs on the CD that I really like but I fast forward through a lot of them. The music is very retro sounding but still interesting. The lead singer has a very unique voice, it's almost nostalgic. I am very pleased with my purchase and the CD is still in my car which says alot. I know it sounds silly but, I originally bought the CD because I like the song in the Verizon commercial.

This CD has four great upbeat songs that I just can't get enough of. There are a few slower more melodic songs that are interesting but I don't feel they flow good with the others. I really LOVE this CD! It is great to listen to at work.
