Remember the Titans (DVD, 2001, Full Frame Version)

I had bought this for my stepdaughter for Christmas. She wanted the movie and could not find it anywhere, so i checked on Ebay and found it for her. Lucky for me the person that i bought it from had it shipped so fast to me that i got it in time for her to open at Christmas. She loved it. She had always wanted this movie but was unable to find it. She told me it is the best movie that you will ever see. Beleive me she watches alot of movies. I have not had the chance yet to view it myself. So all i have to go by is what she has said about it. If anyone buys this movie there is no way they will go wrong. I beleive it will be a movie that can be watched over and over again. I bought this from Twowiseowls on Ebay. There service in shipping is the BEST!!! It was like they decribed it.

Remember the Titans was a great movie with a great story line. This movie is a great family movie. i definitely recommend this movie as part of your movie collection.

This movie is by far the greatest football movie I have ever seen. At this moment i currently have this movie number one and Friday Night Lights number two. Amazing Movie really gets your emotions involved.

This tell-tale version of a classic American story truly demonstrates the strife of prejudices and racism endured by African-Americans during the 1970's. A town that is forced to face that issue head on and nearly on verge of a civil war, Alexandria, Virginia, eventually pulls together during those times of hardships through the determination and perserverence of their half-black and half-white high school football team. This story of determination and perserverence teaches the true meaning of team unity and shows how true friendship can last no matter what, regardless of anything that come its way.

This movie I call a "Feel Good Movie" We have a library of videos, had this one on VHS and wanted it again on a DVD, that is how good it is. Good music, good actors and my son used to imitate the part of "We are the Titans, very mighty Titans, we bad UGH we bad!!!! And he would do their little song and dance. Now as a teenager he still knows how to do it. Buy this movie, it's a keeper for sure.

This movie is stirring and inspires you IMO to be a better person. Shows truth to what they say about prejudice being taught. When people are put alone with no outside pressures you see them come together, but when there are people to say so and so is bad because he is green is when we have the problems we have faced.

This a very good movie. My son loves football and he loved this movie. It shows how team came together and became friends despite their obstacles.

My husband and i had watched this movie before and we really enjoyed.
I wanted to buy this for my husband for Christmas. We like movies that doesn't
have profanity but there doesn't seem to be any movies that doesn't have at least one or two "bad" words anymore.

Remember the Titans is a wonderful movie for the whole family. The movie is excellent condition. I have a daycare and children of all ages love it.

The reason I am upset is I bought a DVD that said fullframe and I received a DVD that was Widescreen instead. I bid on this DVD because of the fact that it was supposed to be fullframe. That to me is misrepresentation of a product.

If you love football and love learning about what happened in the past in American History, then this movie is for you.

This movie gets your emotions all stirred up. Denzel is fabuluos! The supporting actors are all incredible. And the story line is very well written. I recommend this to everyone!

It's a football classic. Both my boys enjoy the movie its right there in the same rating as the movie Rudy! I find it a very inspiring movie!

The DVD I purchase was excellent. The case was beautiful and of course brand new. I watched the DVD on my big screen and it was beautiful. I have added it to my collection.

Unity is difficult to accomplish without conflict and humility. Remember the Titans expresses this lesson in a way that captures the realities of the human struggle for peace with those who are really not so different than ourselves - we have just been taught that they are. If there could be more people who are humble with each other as we see in Remember the Titans, perhaps we would no longer see events like Columbine or need Amber Alerts. I bought this movie to help teach my children these realities - and also because it is a great movie!

This movie was very entertaining as well as showing how to make a team come together. I loved this movie because of the circumstances that the actors were placed in and how they handled themselves in tough roles. The actors and actresses are all well cast and they show how racial tension was overcome by a coach, team and an entire town to help a football team win a championship.

I decided to buy this movie because it was a movie that my whole family could watch and enjoy as well as learn from it.

I would highly recommend this movie for anyone who ever played the game of football or any team sport as well as people from all walks of life. This will surely become a classic for years to come!
