The Reluctant Parting by Julie Galambush (2005, Hardcover)

I purchased this book because I had checked it out from the library and began reading it. I wanted to own it as a part of my personal library. The author supports the historicity of the New Testament writings partiularly the Gospels with her research, thought, and vocabulary. I am enrolled in a class entitled "Survey of the New Testament". This book expands upon my classroom material and text books. The author presents in a varied and different vocabulary than my text book. I like that the language chosen is easy to understand with knowledge of research methods of the Gospel writings and selection of writings contained in the canon. This was my first experience reading a material that questioned the inspired thought of the Gospel writers.
