Relapse [PA] * by Eminem (CD, May-2009, Aftermath Records USA)

Relapse is Eminem's 6th studio album, this is his first since Encore in 2004. It was produced by Dr. Dre except for 1 song. Eminem's friend who passed away in 2006 (proof) was a big inspiration for this cd.

I was very excited to get my hands on this cd. Eminem is my favorite rapper and I figured after such a long time off this album would be fantastic. Well, Relapse, is definately not Eminem's best album. I personally thought that a few of the songs sounded a lot like his previous work. To be honest I guess I enjoy his angry albums and Relapse is pretty mellow. Don't get me wrong there are some sick songs, especially 3am. Relapse just kind of seemed like the songs were rated PG-13.

I definitely enjoyed Relapse and do recommend purchasing this album although I was just a little disappointed. His hooks are great. It is going to be in my CD player for a while.

I LOVE THE ALBUM ,HE IS VERY CRAZY ON THE SONG INSANE HE SAYS STUFF THAT IS VERY OFF THE WALL ,AND THE SONG MEDICINE BALL IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES WELL ALOT OF HIS SONGS ON HERE HE DOESNT RAP THE SAME LIKE HE USED TO ,BUT IT IS STILL TIGHT ,GOOD SONGS ,MY MOM, DEJAVU, HELLO,OLD TIMES SAKE ANYWAY BUY THE ALBUM IT IS GOOD

Best rapper alive. CD is worth the hype. The drive and flow are still as strong as the SLIM SHADY LP and are even more offensive and hillarious. Keep it up EM.

Amazing Album..must buy!!! Songs are hilarious, twisted, & also reveal his drug addiction and childhood problems.

Eminem is awesome. I have all of Eminem's CD'S definitly one of the best. Would love to see him in concert.

I know it sounds like I should be writing this for Brittney! (He does it again?) But, this is a good quality album that he has made! When it is the next one coming, I am ready!

Great beats, and hooks. Good story lines, and a little humor make this a great cd! I love Eminem, every cd just gets better and more creative than the next.

EVERY SONG IS AWSOME. ESPEICALLY UNDERGROUND... HEY MOM AND INSANE GOOD SONGS.. LOVE EM'S WAYS OF USING WORDS AND TWISTING THEM EVERY TIME.. EVERY SONG HAS A PERSONAL MESSEGE BEHIND IT. NOT TO MENTION SAME OL THING FEAT DR.DRE GREAT COLAB BETWEEN THE BOTH.

I always liked Eminem's music, and this album is the best and funniest I've heard yet. My Mom and Insane are some of best comedy songs I've heard in my life. I hope he keeps doin his thing and makin great music.

i bought this cd for my husband. he loved it! he loved that eminem is still his cocky smart-ass self even while he is sober.

a good cd but has not topped THE EMINEM SHOW. It is very nice to see that he is still producing. I absolutly love it when he sings for his daughter.

Eminem always has great material.I have all his other CDs,so I wanted to get this one also.Was not disappointed.Eminem's rap style flows thru these songs.Smooth and lyrical,with enough of the Slim Shady attitude.His rap style and voice are just so unique.Almost every song is about drugs,killing ,sex,violence,etc. so this will not be for everyone.But Eminem fans already know this,so they will enjoy this.Not as good an album as his earlier ones,but I could not stop listening to it none the less.Dr. Dre producing this album is as rock solid as always.Eminem,Slim Shady,Marshall Mathers,what ever you want to call him ,had alot of demons it seems like to excise in this album.Recommended listening.Welcome back,here's to many more.

I love Eminem's music. I decided to buy this because it was new, a great price, and convenient. I work alot and don't have time to go shopping. That coupled with the fact that there aren't any stores close to pick up the explicit version of this CD. Thanks!

EXCELLENT!!!! swell most of it, there is some filler, but several great songs and I highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes rap or eminem at all

Tight beats, clever rhymes, a few sounded reminiscent of other tracks but content is new - still mom on drugs - but with a different slant and different beats. Really enjoyed hearing new stuff.

this isnt THE BEST Slim Shady LP but if you have all his other albums you mind as well get this one. a couple of radio hits are on this album but it didnt get much hype. in my opinion its better than a D12 cd but not as good as other shady records. listen to this one before buying.
