Reign of Fire (DVD, 2002)

I had never heard of this movie, and now I know why it sarted good then dragged on and on really dissapointing , kids liked the dragons though!

This is a sci-fi movie that brings to life on of man's most featured creatures, the dragon. Focusing on their fierce nature, this movie tells the "real" story of what dragons would be like in our world in which man would be brought to near exctinction because of their uncontrollable hunger. Action packed and consistent story line make this a great movie, though not for children susceptible to nightmares.

I've seen this movie several times and enjoy it every time. It has some of the BEST Dragon Graphics that I've ever seen in a movie before. It combines 2 Great Actors, Modern Day, and Dragons! What else could you possibly want?

I have to admit that it's a bit surprising how well the dragons were made in this movie, especially since the animation is SO much better than in the movie coming out soon, 'dragon rider,' i think.

i love the cast in this movie and the story is well developed as well. even though it took a few minutes to get used to mathew mac. as a slighly psychotic character, he plays it so well that it seems almost natural in the end!

A must see!

This movie is science fiction and Fiction is fun. It doesn't have to be beleiveable. If I want that I watch the news. This is a guy flick supreme. Giant dragons, special effects, fights, and even a semi hot chick. Cristian Bale kicks butt in this movie also. Battman and Dirk Pitt in the same movie. I saw this for the first time on video and knew right then I was going to buy it. Ifyou like sci fi with cgi you will live this movie.

Great action packed movie! Special effects were really good, and the dragons are actually believable. Not too much gore, would have liked a little more follow up on the main story.

Apocalyptic waste land ravaged by dragons becomes a tale of mankinds greatest triumph. One of the best kept secrets in movie making history. A young Christian Bale before superstar status and Matthew McConaughey in a perfect role.

This was an excellent fast moving sci fi movie. Excellent top notch actors and excellent filming and editing. A must have for sci fi fans.

I've seen the movie before and liked it so I wanted to buy it so I could watch it anytime. Great action, humans working together to survive. It is a good story keeping you interested throughout the whole movie. You don't wanat to miss any part. At the end you are wanting it to continue

I bought this as a Christmas gift and it arrived in the mail very fast, it was brand new and I paid a discount price for it. I will never pay full price for a movie again.

I bought it because it is an early movie of my favorite actor, Gerard Butler. I also love the mythology of dragons.

I bought this as a gift for my husband because he could not find this movie anywhere, especially not for the price I got it for on eBay. It was going to be a gift but I knew he really wanted it. I have since fallen into the movie as well and there is great acting from Matthew McConaughey and Christain Bale. Even if you are not into dragon movies this was still a movie for those of you that like to watch "what if" movies. Overall great movie and I will continue to enjoy watching it.

A great action adventure movie, putting mankind against prehistoric dragons in the not so distant future.

This has long been a favorite movie of mine, and I finally decided to purchase it. It arrived quickly in great condition and plays perfectly. I'm very pleased with the quality of this DVD, not to mention the great price!
