Jo Beverley is an outstanding author of historic romance novels.
In A Regency Valentine, she introduces you to some of the Valentine customs through her characters.
Juno, her main character, hides her true love of reading romance novels due to her strict upbringing by her recently deceased aunt.
Lord Chart Ashby, a distant cousin, calls upon her at his dying uncles last request.
Aware of her lonely existence, Chart sets a plan in action to give the lovely Juno companionship of other young women. You'll meet Mrs. Trent, Aquila and Philo and their challenges also.
As the love stories unfold we realize how much we need other people in our lives and that we can learn so much through them about ourselves.
As with all of Jo Beverley's characters, you will feel that these people are real.
Lots of intrigue, compassion, danger and romance.
Great anthology which offers being acquainted with other authors as well.
