I would love to write a review of this book, however, I have not received it, although I ordered it 2 months ago. I have yet to hear from the seller or have any resolve from half.com. Needless to say, I am not a satisfied customer.

I had to remaind the seller that he was suppossed to send the book after I have purchased. There was no way to contact the seller if you don't give them a riview. Before you receive the item? I'm never buying in this website again, people take too long to send the items.... I carefully chose sellers who were close to my address in Wilton, CT. One was in Boston and the other in Brooklin...It would have it easier if i had droven to their homes.....

I ordered 3 books at the same time, and this was the last book I received. It barely made to me before class started. I would recommend ordering well in advance to be sure it reaches you before class starts. Otherwise, the book was in great condition and I received a fair deal.

the way bolman and deal write makes reading about management styles interesting. they use cases to help illustrated the four frames and concepts within each frame. the only fault i've found with it so far is similar: they tend to use the cases to describe concepts instead of just defining them. it would be more clear if they defined everything instead of using metaphors all the time. i hope this makes sense. i like the cases, but they tend to use them too much, basically.

I bought this book for a class in Educational Leadership. So it was something I needed not wanted. Used $30 on Amazon, $20 on ebay, cha-ching. Bonus the copy on ebay is highlighted!!

This book does a good job of comparing different organizational operations and threads case examples from beginning to end chapter.
