Reflection of Something by Todd Agnew (CD, Aug-2005, Ardent/INO/Columbia)

I can't even tell you how much I love this album. Todd Agnew puts his heart and whole singing voice into every song, and writes lyrics that are right to the point of things. (If you're into soft, fuzzy lyrics that tickle your ears, this ISN'T the album for you!) He has an incredible baratone/bass voice that you don't get to hear in too many professional singers, but that will hit right to your core if you let it. His love for the Lord rings out in every song, and his distaste for sin is just as clear. At times, the lyrics are heavy diatribes against the typical modern Christian, but his distaste for his own sin is obvious as well (I LOVE the song "Where Were You", which talks about a time when he questioned God's actions, and, like Job, he was asked, "Where were you when I..."). In addition, he has several worshipful songs as well. (The hidden track is just beautiful!) It is a little more bluesy/jazzy than his previous work, but it's just amazing. I couldn't have made a better purchase!

This was my first Todd Agnew purchase. I am very pleased with the talent that he has. All the songs are spiritually based and make you think about what you could be doing different in your own life. The song My Jesus is an excellent song that really touched me. The album is rock but the words sung are very understandable as some bands you can't. The music isn't hard rock and is a good album I think everyone would enjoy.

Todd Agnew has a ear catching style that carries a style of it's own. When I first heard him on Klove radio, I thought "Man, I like his style, Who is this?!!!" After I found out who the name was of this spunky, jazzy singer was, I ran out and bought 2 of his cd's. I have never regretted buying them since. Todd is true to the heart of his songs, his love for the Lord pours out in each and every song he sings. He makes you think deep within your soul, about your walk with the Awesome Lord. I highly recommend this cd.

Todd Agnew is one of the most honest Christian artists out there right now. His music is poignet and applies to everyday life and the doubts and struggles that some of us face. This is a wonderful mix of music styles and is truly entertaining for a wide audience. I highly recommend it to anyone and challenge you to listen to the words. There is not one thing I dislike about this recording, it is perfect as it is. I decided to purchase it because I had heard his music and read a few of his interviews. He is truly a man of God and has a great message of hope for all who want to listen. Just buy it now, you won't be dissapointed!

Fair price and Excellent delivery by 1st Class mail within 5-6 days. I did a search on EBay and found that I could receive the CD through EBay. The paypal method of payment was very easy as I have used paypal several times.

Love the words to this CD by Todd Agnew. Down to earth, humble and touches my heart. I have church in my car with this CD ! Sometimes I sing along, sometimes I cry, but I can truly relate in every way. In the song MY JESUS he sings "My Jesus would not be accepted in my church because he would stain the carpet with blood and dirt on his feet " ... makes you wonder ~~ I bought this CD because I so enjoy his first CD as well.

This is a terrific Christion Contemporary Rock CD!!! I highly reccomend it to anyone and everyone. If you don't have it, GET IT!!! lol...

The words of the songs speak so loud and clear to us and you can hear the emotions from Todd as he sings them!
