One of the funniest things I have ever watched. For anyone that ever enjoyed a Shakespearian Play-you will love this. The three actors:Reed, Austin and Adam-are absolutely hilarious.

Is it possible? Can 3 men act out all of Shakespeare's plays in 90 minutes? I had my doubts until I saw this. These three performers make Shakespeare fun! Though it is truly a humorous take on all of Shakespeare's plays there is some value to it. If you like Shakespeare or a good laugh this is a must see!

Got to love the Bard; but he is even funnier abridged! I have seen this acting troupe live and decided it was something I needed to have in my dvd collection.

This movie is beyond hilarious. Even for those who know nothing about Shakespeare, it is full of simple and even subtle humor ("and in 1941, Shakespeare invaded Poland"). For those who do know Shakespeare, the humor is compounded with references and intentional vagueries.

I am a lover of the classics and also of satire. This is an amazing tongue in cheek performance which covers, as advertised, the complete works of Shakespeare. This is an unexpected jewel and great fun. I have watched it several times, and enjoy hauling it out for new 'victims' who expect something long-winded and boring and are taken offguard by the outstanding performance.

this is sketch comedy/drama at the best. While not recommended as the "cliff's notes" for any serious-minded scholor of the bard, it is very well done and hilarious. Even the most compelling and dark of the tragedies, Hamlet or Lear, are portrayed in understandable and entertaining fashion. A bit tongue in cheek, and somewhat cheeky as well, the players work off each others' wit and energies to present the works (yes, all of them) not so much as they were intended, but certainly as they are marketed here. You get them all, without fuss, muss or bother. I first saw this performance on a netflix rental and determined to search for it to add it to my off beat collection. Found it and won't part with it now. I recommend it for any evening of light hearted fun, with a bit of classic literature thrown in for good measure. As for good taste, all in the eye and ear of the beholder, so be warned. I think it worth it, but it isn't to be taken seriously. Hint: you'll never pass the midterm or final if you use this as a study guide, but you will laugh. Out loud. Often.

I watched this movie in my Theater Appreciation class and it has the entire college class rolling and roaring with laughter. So as an English language arts major I decided to purchase it for my own enjoyment and for future purpose in class. Of course, I was not disappointed! It's a very engaging lesson in Shakespeare's plays and you'll learn far more than you'd like to admit from this classic collection of plays with loads of humor added to the mix. Very accessible to children and adults alike! What I don't like about it? It ended. I want more! You will too!

My wife, who is an English teacher, and I were given a copy to watch one weekend by one of her colleagues. We sat down to watch it waiting to be entertained. We weren’t entertained, we laughed so hard that our sides hurt.

The dvd is so funny! since i got it i have showed it to so many people and some of them have started buying their own copies! you don't even have to be familiar with all of Shakespeare's works to enjoy it, i have only read a few plays and some of my favorite skits are over plays i haven't read. buy it. watch it. and enjoy!

The three men who put these skits together are amazingly funny. I laughed until I cried! If you have a sense of humor at all, and have read at least one of Shakespeare's plays, you will enjoy this 100%!

This is a great, fast paced, and intelligent comedy. It is actually a live recording of the Reduced Shakespeare Company doing the work listed in the title. Very funny stuff.
