Excellent story of the friendship between Bill Russell and Red Auerbach. Well written and an easy read. It does an outstanding job of telling many inside items about the Boston Celtics dynasty during this era. This book will bring back many of the names of the past.

) I admire Bill Russell and Red Auerbach. I have followed them since 1956. I live in Boston and have watched the Celtics dominate the NBA for thru 1956-1965, and there will never be another pro team to dominate an entire league like that.

Must Read for Die Hard Celtic Fans
) I am a die hard Celtics fan and Celtics Season Ticket Holder. I am truly intrigued by Bill Russell and Red Auerbach and how they were able to be such a successful team. I would recommend this book to anyone who considers themselves a true Celtics fan. If you bleed green and white like I do this a book for you !
