Red Wing Potters and Their Wares by Gary Tefft (1996, Paperback)

I found this book to be very informative and educational. Every Red Wing collector should read this and add it too their library. It is a great source of information on the begginings of Red Wing pottery as well as items they sold and old pictures of the craftsmen making pottery. It gives a real sense of the way things were and takes you back in time and gives you a more respect for the art of Red Wing Pottery! If you are going to collect something you should bone up on it's history so you can take pride in your collection as well as having more information on items and being able to date them. Great read for the pro to the novice collector. Well worth the money!
