Many people dont realize that the red violin is in fact a journey to consider the treatment that beautiful art and indeed beautiful women have had historically in their desire to be captivated and most rightly appreciated by the best possible admirer. In this respect it is in fact a metaphorical tale. Its a bit of a stretch for some however that ultimately is the sum of the tale thats told here. In an age where everyone's views are deemed equal it becomes a bit of a farce to maintain otherwise or to seek to hold on to what you feel is yours in this respect in the way of a truly deserved place in the line to acquire and appreciate things for their true worth. A brilliant movie with rich settings in various locales including scenes shot in Italian in China settings too along with Germanic/Austrian where its most impressive on the characters that come to appreciate its worth.
