Red Faction: Guerrilla (Xbox 360, 2009)

I am only on the 2nd sector so far, but I think I know enough to be confident this game is a 5/5.

This game is a great sandbox game, meaning you can chose when you want to complete objectives and which ones you want to complete. There are lots of options but the only things you have to do to move on are the missions.

To complete a sector, you must lower the control down to 0. To do that you can blow up their important buildings, go on "raids", rescue other red faction members, help win small battles, and more. After that you have to do the missions (usually 4 so far) and the sector becomes yours.

At first I was concerned about the length of the game after beating the first sector so quickly (2 hours). I was quickly reassured once I saw how much more there was to the 2nd sector. I have been working on that for 2 hours and I still got another 2 to go it looks like.

I would recommend this game if you like sandbox objective games in general...or if you liked Saints Row 2 (same people make this game, looks and feels similar to me)
