Entertaining Read for Everett Fans

If you are familiar with any of Everett's fiction, you know he is capable of very dry, witty prose. He has used the same tone in writing about his own life, but the book is also introspective, with a deep sense of sadness along with all of the bitchy banter. He speaks openly about his loves and his losses, of friends gone due to AIDS or drugs, and has some great stories about the rich and famous. Occasionally the book is rambling, and some of the celebrities he writes of may not be as familiar to us in the US as they would be in the UK. But overall, as someone who has enjoyed his films, I found it to be an entertaining and frank look at the man's life.
