REBELS AND YANKEES by WILLIAM C. DAVIS (1989)
To look at the book you would think it another pictorial. However once you begin to read it you start to realize how much these men were not enemies with each other. But all the same the only difference was the color of their uniforms, flags, meals, and so called southern drawl. This book illustrates their everyday life throughout the bloody four years of war.I Highly recommend reading it if you get the oppurtunity. It is very informative without boring you about military life when not in combat.I thought it was going to be a good book for my grandson not until I am finished with it.Thanks for selling this book
