Real Wheels - Mega Truck Adventures (DVD, 2003)

I gave the DVD to a nephew who is almost 5 years old. I was amazed at how much he enjoyed it!!! He really enjoyed seeing real vehicles. Good series for children, and adults enjoy it too.

As i wrote in my other review, My 3 kids just love this series. We have every title; rescue adventures, truck adventures, mega truck adventures, high speed adventures, land, sea and air adventures, travel adventures, and i think im missing or 2. This is one of the very few dvd series that my kids will actually have the attention span to watch - this series is addictive. There is also a Fred Levines little hard hats series that my kids just LOVE, but those dvds cost more money than these and hard to find ( especially the big machines dvds). One word of caution about real wheels: there are many people selling them, some are as low as a penny on ebay, but they are not all the same - just have same covers. the original warner brothers label is pretty hard to come by, but find it as it contains3 FULL episodes on each dvd - and thats a great value. Other releases eitehr contain 1 full episode and 2 highlights, or in 1 case where we bought a cheap dvd - it has 3 series - but all highlights, not full series. of 7 dvds we have we bought 5 from an ebay seller kids-cds. i think they also have a site kidscds.org. We know they have original series. We also bought 2 from other sellers. 1 was good , and the other had highlights only. my girls most favotire is the land, sea and air adventures dvd, while my boys love them all. Once you find an original warner brothers release - BUY THESE, you wont be dissapointed

Bought this for my mother to give my almost 3 year old truck crazy son! We had an early Christmas the other day. Duncan was not impressed with the DVD box, but he DID light up when I put the DVD in & the BIG TRUCKS came on the screen. He had seen the video of the construction vehicles before--and stood in AWE again! The Monster Trucks & Tank videos were new to him. He enjoyed them but was also interested in his sister's new Sit & Spin!

On 2nd viewing of the Monster Trucks & Tanks, Duncan really got INTO the sights & sounds! It was a rainy day & we were all ready to see something other than Dora! Even 4 year old sister LOVED the truck action!

I'd recommend it to any truck crazy boys & girls out there. The host is kinda goofy--but the kids like him.

My three year old loves this video. He requests it every day. The main character, Dave, is hysterical to little kids. I had this video on VHS and it is worn out from so many viewings.

I thought this would be a DVD of manily large trucks and dozers doing work set to music. It's not. It is basically a guy and a girl talking to the camera and explaining things about trucks. There are a few music videos with trucks, and singing, but other than that it's a lot of talk. I bought this for my 20 month old, but he loses interest over the long stretches of talking and explaining things.

My three year old loves this movie he can't get enough of it I would recommend it to any tractor fan out there and his or her family.
