Reading With Meaning by Debbie Miller (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

The product was just how they discribed. Also, they were fast is getting it to me. They did a great job.

This book was a quick read with practical applications for the classroom. Debbie's conversational style shows the reader what is possible when we empower kids and believe in their abilities!

I really liked all of the author's examples from the book so that I understood better what she was talking about. She really went into a lot of detail on how to accomplish results. She also pictured her charts for easier following. Overall, she had a lot of great ideas that I plan to utilize in my classroom.

This is a great book that I just happened to come across because I chose it for a bookclub in one of my education classes. The book is very helpful and written by a great author and teacher, Debbie Miller. She describes her experiences with creating a reading environment in her classroom and offers important input on issues and ideas as well for in the classroom. I've really been enjoying the book and it just makes you want to get out there and learn all you can for your students! Debbie provides such detailed and explicit scenarios that seem too good to be true, but they make you want to achieve them anyway. If you are a reading teacher you should have this book!
