Rayman DS (Nintendo DS, 2005)

This game is awesome. As we know this is a remake of Rayman 2 the Great Escape which was put out for PS1, N64, and the Dreamcast. This game is best on the Dreamcast, but is very nice on the DS. The game is virtually the same with PS1 graphics. The controls is what I think make the people that hate this game hate it. You use a analog on the touch screen, which takes a while to get used too, I just use my thumb and found that if you keep your thumb around the stick it works well. I will say that I played Rayman on my wife's DS lite and it seemed a little hard to control (I had to press a little harder than I'd like too). But on my DS I have a Clarivue screen protector on the touch screen, which actually helps make the touch pad more sensitive. For some reason on my DS lite the game controls wonderfully, but on hers without the screen protector it doesn't control as nice. The game is awsome with very good graphics for the DS, and is a game which you can play over and over. If you can get used to the controls or have a clarivue screen protector on your DS I think you will love this game. For those of you that played the original Rayman 2 Great Escape you will love having this game on the go!
