Rattle & Hum by U2 (CD, Oct-1988, Island Records USA)

This album is simply one of the best U2 ever wrote, aswell as Achtung Baby.

The song 'desire' is a raw adrenaline rush of music with rough tones and exceptional guitars and drums.

'All I want is u' is a beautiful ballad that Bono wrote and one of the most relaxing and inspiring love songs mixed together, like a crying teenager pouring his heart out, only to get ripped apart by life.

'Pride' is a tribute to the fall of apartheid, and is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard, the acoustics are sensational, and the melody is entrancing, but like all U2 songs, the lyrics and the ability to make love to the music is what the band excel in, sounding like they are playing their souls on their instruments.

'Angel of Harlem' is an urban night song, which brings to life a dark void of his personality that you would swear was written while Bono was high on something. Its simply breathtaking, sounding like a very metallic melody with a coarse undertone that reverberates throughout the whole song. Very very inspiring song.

All in all, one of their best, if only 2nd to their greatest CD Achtung Baby.
