One of my favorite books, but this audio version is ruined by the sound effects and the reading by Megan Gallagher. As much as I like her in other areas, she is just sound too gentle and wistful, almost serene, for this rousing tale. If only Dr. Bakker himself could have done the narration. He's great when he gets into a subject!!!
