Random Acts of Badness by Danny Bonaduce (2001, Hardcover)

i decided to buy it because i grew up watching danny bonaduce acting. i always liked him. he also is a d.j. on my favorite morning radio program and i think he is so talented. i wanted to know more about his life.
the book was funny, entertaining and well written. i just couldn't put it down! i will read it again in the future, and i don't do that with most books.

Danny Bonaduce of Partridge family fame has given us a tell all book. Random Acts of Badness, reveals what the down side of his life has been like. From scoring drugs in seedy neighborhoods, to sleeping in his car, to chaining himself up in his hotel room to keep himself from going out for more drugs, this books will take you down the road clear to the gutter, of the red headed bass player (who never played the instrument once in reality) of the singing Partridges. Co starring with David Casssidy was not always easy. The girls would flock to David, ignoring Danny. He held feeling of worthlessness, deperession, and lonliness. You'll learn how he tried to clean up his act, fooled employers with fake drug tests, and how he came within inces of going to the Big house. And just when you think it couldn't get any worse...it does. You'll read how his ex wife now, Gretchen, took him by the horns and gave the ultimatum, how he fought to take back control of his life. Learn how he feels about David Cassidy today and others from the set of "The Partridge Family". This and a whole lot more is in "Random Acts of Badness". Danny is currently as of May 2009, working in Philadelphia at WYSP. Working mornings, his show is funny to raunchy, silly to sublime and lots of typical morning show bantering of the exploits of the morning crew. Book was in great shape. Shipped very quickly. Bought it as Danny Bonaduce is now a local deejay and wanted to hear his story!

it's amazing what kinds of things people do. I found my self in amazment and also laughing out loud at him. Hopefully he has straightened up-but he's had a VERY interesting life!

i find myself laughing out loud as i read it. very funny, but also, kind of sad he had such a troubled childhood. he is funny whenever he's on radio/tv, so i knew this book would be, too!

I decided to buy this book because I grew up with Danny Bonaduce and all the problems he was known for. I thought it would be interesting to get his point of view. He has a great sense of humor and never blames anyone else on his situations.
